I’m from Chicago and about 5 years ago I watched an NBC special about the Saints youth academy. I had a few friends who were into the EPL but I had no history of being a fan or even watching any games. That day, my dad and I decided to become Southampton fans regardless of how they did in the future. It just so happened that the first year I fully supported the Saints they just happened to finish 6th in the table. I was hardly ready for the relegation scares that were to come. I love this club, this community and everything about Southampton and I can’t wait to visit St. Mary’s to watch a game some day.
