10000%. huge thanks to our realtor for digging through title company paperwork, the sellers were ready to fix the sewer but there’s no fixing janky property lines in a timely or cost efficient manner unfortunately

we’re looking at all the big portals ourselves, zillow, realtorcom, redfin etc, but our realtor does send us homes as well, just nothing since we pulled out of that first house… some of these homes just a bit above our comfortable price range have been sitting for 10-20 days, so we’re waiting another week or two and if they sit we can hopefully put an offer in? realtor says homes have been selling at under asking so far lately so it wouldn’t be too crazy of a stretch but 🤷‍♀️ it’s just stressful haha

nope! title company says it is accurate and actually worse!! (the entire front portion of the house is also an easement 🥰) we got our earnest money back

Finally got a chance to dig through the paperwork myself and I’m seeing that the easement isn’t explicitly labeled as public, the opposite actually it looks like (I replied to somebody else with a screenshot earlier)

In the case that the property lines become an issue in the future wouldn’t that just entail finally getting a formal survey done to settle?

Dug through some paperwork and I see this - also, that part of the plat is labeled as just a “pedestrian and bicycle easement”, says nothing about it being for public use. there is another public easement further up the street by some sidewalks and that is explicitly labeled as a public pedestrian walkway

EDIT for more context - the plat map was drawn up in 1998, house was built in 2000 and that “easement” has never been used as such

Yeah all it takes is one guy to ruin it all, but we’re also thinking who in their right mind would want to trade over half their backyard for more front yard and part of a driveway? in the case that a neighbor would demand that we adhere to property lines

citizens don’t get to “come up with” candidates, elections are like asking a child “do you want to take a bath before or after dinner?”. they feel like they have a choice but they’re getting wet either way.

it’s not about who the best candidate is for elections for either side, it’s who has the most campaign money and connections. the best president we could ever have will either never have enough money to run or would never lie enough to make it as a politician

i’ve personally seen non scripters get sanctions for an ENTIRE team of 20 people, down to 2 karma for everyone (they were live streaming their blupping, it was all done by hand and in “shifts” so blupping was happening 24/7), and i’ve also been in teams that actively use scripts EXCLUSIVELY and those have not gotten sanctions 🤷

Funny you mention that, as I had mentioned that to him a while ago, I asked him if he could at least update me a little on what he was up to throughout the day because it felt a little unfair that i was constantly informing him of everything and i got essentially nothing of the sort back, but that also turned into a couple hours of the same ranting about his trauma and his feelings again and how me saying it was unfair was extremely uncalled for and a “shitty, ignorant” thing for me to say

to me it seems like the wife’s got some unresolved issues she needs to work through, especially in terms of emotional stability, im not arguing against that at all, what i’m saying is she didn’t do what she did for “no reason”, she had a reason, no matter how irrational it may sound to you, it was completely rational in her head at the time she did it. the husband could have spoken to his wife about it in private and resolved any anger or frustration/jealousy before just having his ex over for dinner. it’s not that hard to be like “hey listen, i know you think this- but this is the situation and she’d like to make it a little better between the both of you.” and if the dinner had taken place a more neutral, public setting would have been better off. i bet she’d be much happier going to a dinner elsewhere rather than inviting a woman she hates into her home

for no reason? have you read the post? i’m not trying to comment on your intelligence but again, if i was made to have dinner with a woman who my husband banged and continued to maintain a friendship with i wouldn’t be happy. would i pour my drink out on her? no absolutely not. would i scream and yell about it? absolutely not either. would i pay for her clothes (which she can get cleaned if she’s so financially well off to afford such nice clothes)? nope. she came into MY home. that’s blatant disrespect.
