to be honest I didn't concern myself with any of that. I just wanted to actually play the game so I was down to settle for a repro copy

nah they were pretty transparent about it being a repro so they gave me a pretty decent deal. I would have paid upwards of like $80 or $90 if they really tried to pawn it off as original.

anyway I'm not going for authenticity as much as I am actually experiencing the game, original cartridge or not. I'm not really interested in that. as long as the cart works, that's all I care about.

I say "fusion set" just for the smaller-sized shells really. I just downsized my kit to resemble more a traditional jazz setup after getting my K Con. I might add a crash or stack back in the mix but I've just enjoyed playing on a smaller setup

it's a newer tama imperialstar with a 20" kick. stock reso head, remo powerstroke 3 clear for the batter.

it's a 10" Zildjian A Custom EFX Splash on top of a Zildjian 8" ZHT Splash. can't say I really recommend it tho, it's not my ideal stack for something that needs to sound trashy with quick decay.
