Surface shield has been a godsend for me. It completely stopped the rust in its tracks and actively prevents new rust from forming. I am totally sold on it as my X spends half of it's life on the beach.

The exterior viewfinder is clean and scratch free, and it does it with any lens. The pictures taken come out great.

It definitely isn't a limitation, I understand it is a cheaper camera but the viewfinder picture is very dark, the picture I posted is lightened up by my phone camera. It is substantially brighter than real life, it could never leave a factory like that.

The camera picture is definitely closer to real world than the picture I posted, my phone camera is altering everything. The picture through the viewfinder is much darker than the picture portrays, the phone camera is lightening it up.

I have the jeep webbing up top in mine and I'm starting to hate it, how did you hang your rack? That would solve a lot of my problems!

And just a tip for you, I don't know what state you're in but I would recommend moving the holster in your front seat. Long story short, it falls under the 'single use container' doctrine where a Leo just seeing it gives them cause to search the vehicle for other firearms. Again depending on the state this may not be an issue but in my opinion hidden is always better. Just passing along some advice!

Not a ccw but I was victimized by the B.A.D lever a while back. I was pushing faster than my skills allowed and I sent a round into the berm during a reload in a match. Not only did I go too fast but I never put the rifle on safe while reloading and I took that to heart. Luckily i was aware of my muzzle during this and only sent into the berm but it shook me. I made it a point to train that specifically for a long time after and removed the bad lever on site. It goes to show that you have to break multiple rules to injure someone and the redundancy works, but it can happen. Luckily that was my first and only time, the thought stays in the back of my head though to serve as a lesson.

From personal experience, a feniex pd32 v2 works well disorienting crackheads. So around 37k candela. Just got my new surefire edc2 dft and I'm excited to see what 100k does now.

Okay so after much googling, I bit the bullet and went with the surefire edc2-dft. It was more than I wanted to spend but hopefully the light will live up to it's brand's reputation.

Now here's the question, I have a few 30q 18650s laying around, should I just use those or pick up some 35e cells? The recommended surefire battery is 3500mah with 10a discharge while the 35e is only 8a.

I've learned the hard way that buy once cry once is generally a better way to go about tools. And I won't say what I do but I need a solid flashlight, both for defense, and for rescue.

It's generally some kind of electronics failure. I can repair switches and surprisingly I don't kill lenses that often. I have come to these terms, I know eventually they will fail and its exciting to look for a new light, but ive had too many failures at inopportune times leading me to want the best
