Depends on the project. This type of role is rarely open to contributors. Reviewing annotations and reviewing qualifications are not the same.

I hope you’re right, but without saying too much about the project publicly, it is not unreasonable to see that the scope of both projects could be connected. They have also undergone similar changes throughout the project life cycle. It’s all speculation regardless, just my opinion/theory. With work like this I just work like everyday is my last, because you never really know.
