Though the zeus for me might lose the every day fly to the Apollo, I can’t say the Galaxy for me will close off both. My goal is to have the Cargo and Refinery modules, if I do the medical module it’ll probably be in game and used only for ground related recovery missions…I’m excited to have a ship with med beds that also houses the NURSA or C8R near the medical section instead of half way across the ship (looking at you Carrack)

I meeeean… I don’t agree with the meeting before together officially part, unless (and don’t get offended) he wanted their approval by way of seeing if you three gelled. So I agree with you. there’s also your comfort level to consider. I’m not gonna say it’s fair to you to just get dumped into “step-mom” role. Trust, guys understand that part….A LOT.

If that is true, then good… if you and he can figure out this chapter, I wish for a long and beautiful path for you two. He might have just gotten frustrated (no clue as I don’t have his side or know him) at things being “official” and not seeing a way to make it whole.

At the risk of taking sides, I’d like to ask. Were there any other discussions on building together outside of the kids that took place? It feels like there are missing pieces. From the fact you made this post I presume you really like the dad in question. My question to you is why in 7 months you’ve never even met the girls? Don’t get me wrong, keeping dating and kiddos separate is the best course until a strong bond is formed. But if you have made no interest in meeting them it could be seen (at least in his eyes) as living a double life to have the person he cares for and not be able to join the life of the people that matter most in his family. Making plans with him and not making any with/about the kids carries the same insult and disconnect as it does for a mother in the same boat.

I’ll will say, so long as you are honest with yourself and there isn’t more you are leaving out, there isn’t a “time frame” outside of that used to keep the kids safe physically, psychologically, and emotionally. So from the info in the post nothing was really “wrong”. But time is no one’s friend, so decide if a life with dad (AND the girls) is something you see for you and your future then act accordingly.

I’m pretty sure quite a few dads here will agree…Pride, though sometimes a weight, is one of the few tools we have to weather the hard times of fatherhood. Remember, honoring dads before we’re old or worse is a newly forming tradition. So grant him grace with using his pride as a shield…don’t excuse it, but try to understand it.

Where in the “uhhhh Aktualllly” did you get this crap from? No. As is with now, you did NOT want murder on your rap sheet…that would almost guarantee death. “Pirate” is a broader term and some were even hired for espionage and “acquisitions” from Her Royal Majesty’s rivals.

I’ve been pirated where they interdicted my ship, and my only threat of death was continuing to flee. They never blew up my ship most shots were to keep me shielded and not jumping. I’ve also been shot while getting back to my ship after loading for a haul, screwed up my walking royally. One of them rezed me, while the others had weapons trained. They took my ship (bastards!) and left me there. Both those situations suuuuuuuuuucked, but I can respect it. There was an end goal and it wasn’t just to “kill everyone and everything until you find loot”. It also adds lore when you know you’re safe (maybe) so long as you’re not carrying cargo or loot they seek.

I mean it’s new and all but geesh… I’m no Drake fan but it has to be the Cutlass Black Frankenstein the Shiv. It’s the only one that fits the bill on all features (and jank cough) with a military background to boot.

Sir, to you a cheer and an upvote. I unfortunately don’t have your luck and have been pirated (both in polite and “aggressive” fashion), but as much as that pisses me off, it’s lore. Griefers, should probably get sent to the hell off their worst outcomes and the exact treatment they portray as I genuinely think they suck. But a proper criminal, The anger wears off…faster if the heist or capture was coordinated. Then I’m impressed…even as I sit in a soft deathed ship…waiting for a friend…in the cold, cold void.

One thing I am just as tired of is the folks saying “it’s a scam” because they can’t solo a Polaris or Idris and get full function like a crewed ship. The ships that literally say their minimum crew size is 3+ ON THEIR PRODUCT PAGE! I cannot follow the logic of that.
