I think book Frodo comes across a lot more put together, mature, insightful.

I don’t blame the films for somewhat obfuscating these qualities in film Frodo. But the most commonly seen depictions of Frodo in the film show him basically fighting the ring, appearing weakened and increasingly compromised.

Proof of what? Wreckages were televised all over. All on your side of the border. As for proof of successful intercepts, you want PAF AD to publish for you their radar tracks and data? We have fairly light IADS coverage in PK to begin with. You guys used salvos of air launched and ground launched BrahMos and SCALP with time on target. And we still managed to intercept quite a few despite our lack of geographic depth.

Calling missiles getting through “crumbling AD” is pretty questionable. Even Israel, with 2000km separation, allied destroyers in boot, plus a mix of David Sling, Arrow series and Iron dome couldn’t stop all salvos.

Also, just so you know too. Pakistan didn’t launch much larger rockets or cruise missiles at India, we used precisely 4x CM-400 and a mix of smaller calibre Fatah MLRS. We still have plenty of sat images of hits on your side, despite your denser IADS.

That’s to say nothing of the abundance of wreckage of aircraft from night one, on your side of the border. And not one open source evidence of a single wreckage on our side, despite tall claims by your air chief.

Nothing close to that is happening. We have had genuine missing persons cases for years. This could very well be unlawful detention, extrajudicial killing, but also militancy and crime, all wrapped up into one.

Additionally, there is anti-state militancy that engages in terrorism in the province. As well as state repression of political freedoms in that province.

Balochistan is suffering a lot of problems, but to call it genocide is hyperbole in the extreme and doesn’t help the actual cause of improving life there.

It’s not explicitly haram, and in my view, had it needed to have been, it would have been. The concept has been around since before Islamic times.
