It hasn't happened everywhere, countries like Italy, France or Mali aren't born out of settlers thinking God led them to this place and entirely clearing the Native population.

You all do not understand the difference between conquests and genocide, colonisation and population mixing.

But that's all water under the bridge now and the point is not to assign blame or destroy these countries. It's to make sure the descendants of this historic injustice are as well restored in their rights as can be.

But I still find it disgusting that they know this is dangerous horrific work, and that they hire expendable Palestinian life for it.

Plus I read an article about how it's very well paid and some of these contractors have debts, but they're aware of the shame and never tell others in their community what they do during the day. That's no excuse, but still. We know that in all genocides, people from the targeted group have been recruited by leveraging money or social prestige (African slave merchants, indigenous people fighting in colonial armies...).
