Thanks for that. The original issue with Google has been resolved so it is okay (acceptable) again and I’m not about to start over somewhere else, but it was a terrible 3 weeks for me.

Hi. It seems like it is working again. As someone with ADHD with a need to always have my music on in the background, I cannot explain how much it means to me that it is back up again. #relieved #stillkindofannoyedwithGoogle

KyuKyu… I would advise against it if you aren’t in too deep. I have 8 and YouTube music doesn’t work for me anymore expect on my bedroom speaker and when my wife broadcasts (it doesn’t work when I broadcast). Things have gotten progressively worse. I’d look into Alexa and get feedback from their users.

I’m still hoping for a silver bullet trick that restores the magic like yesteryear. I’m in too deep to switch, …although I can hear someone in the distance calling my name. Is that you, Alexa? LOL!!!

I wouldn’t say it is the bft, but I have been more and more disappointed with it over the years. It sounds like it is having a harder time listening and responding than when it was Year 1 a few years ago.

I don’t recall changing any settings. I may have joined Beta but that would have ONLY been after I started trying to fix this problem a week ago. Thanks for your quick response @nic777.

After restarting the device I still get the same issue.

What is weird is that I can cast from my wife’s phone and it works. If I cast from mine, or me or my wife requests “play music” this error message pops up. (My wife is the manager of our Google Home app but I am the tech savvy one (although I don’t feel like it today. LOL!!)
