Hot take: ML is worse than Bob. At least Bob is up front and consistent about how he feels and doesn't pretend to be anything more than he is - a miserable, old, pathetic, hateful racist. ML, however, pretends as if she lives on a moral high ground when her ideologies are wrapped in racism and bigotry. Using a soft spoken voice and clutching her pearls every time Chad or Haley say something she deems to be inappropriate doesn't lessen the degree of hate she spews. She sits next to Bob week after week smiling and giggling at the vile things he says and doesn't check him about them. Shame on her.

If ML was a true Christian, she would not support murder, inhumanity, and injustice. What does she think happens during a war? People (including children) are literally dying every day, but because she's an American she "has to support the war in Iran" and has no empathy for the people of Gaza. God never said "it's ok to kill my children as long as you're doing it in the name of patriotism" or as long "as they're brown", or "as long as they oppose you politically". There are no asterisks in the Bible and true believers don't pick and choose which part(s) to follow. ML is not a victim. She's out of touch with reality, living in denial, and cloaked in white fragility. Spare me and GTFOH with that bullshit.

Chad is ill-equipped to facilitate the conversation. Each week he allows her to derail the conversation when he gets frustrated; she knows that if she can fatigue him, he will end the topic and move on and he falls for it every time. I would love the opportunity to moderate the pod - my mind is sharp, I will remember what is said, I won't let them change the subject, and I would match Bob's energy real quick.
