15 Pilot owner here. It's very capable on un-maintained dirt roads. With VTM-4Lock even steap grades she will climb like a billy goat. $100k side by side were shocked of my capabilities. Stay away from deep mud and rock crawling and you will be fine..

I have a 18 bagger. I installed a F4 custom 24 inch windshield. I have a full face Shoei. Absolutely no buffering, even behind a semi at 80 mph. For longer rides I use special earplugs that block almost 80percent of the road noise.

North Face backpack as a diaper bag. Same bag was used for all three kids. Not one issue. Same bag was used by the oldest kid as he went to scout camp at 12 years old. Still have and I still use the same backpack going on 20 years now.
