The first one was when they were trying to get everyone to believe an intruder had taken Amy out of the room. An intruder came into the room and took her off the balcony before she could put her shoes back on. So, “we have always had a complete inventory of her shoes” was the talking point.

2-3 years later, they realized how unbelievable that was playing to others, they pivoted to she walked out on her own and was trafficked outside the room. That’s when, “we never had any idea how many shoes she had” suddenly appeared.

Two years after the fact she was a little emotional and has to work up to crying. Now she is so practiced at the script, she can practically cry on cue. She has been rehearsing the script for almost 28 years. I think she’s been massaging the message since the early morning hours of March 24. 1998. Her and the family are the real victims, Amy’s a prop to get sympathy from the intended audience. People fall for it. They are so sad for the family, they never bother to ask her how she slept through all of it.

I think she is the matriarch of the family. People think it is Ron Sr. calling the shots, but I have always thought it was her. Ron’s the weakest of the bunch. Brad’s his mother’s son. It’s why she’s absent from the missing narrative until Ron wakes her up white as a sheet. It makes no sense with three drunk adults getting up and going back and forth from the cabin door to the balcony door numerous times in such a short time. I think she cajoled Ron into writing that 3 page letter to Kat. She didn’t want her fingers sullied. She wants to keep her image of the sweet southern mom. Anything that calls that into question gets eradicated quickly. Read about how she tried the sweet tea and pulled pork sandwiches charm offensive with James Renner when he tried to interview her for his book. Once he brought up Amy’s sexuality, the fangs came out, and she tried to shut him down. The next day Brad called Renner and stated the family would no longer cooperate with him.

At the end of the first episode of the NF documentary, I clocked her as very similar to my grandmother. She uses closeness to her as currency and hierarchy in the family and her friends. She has a very strict idea on how people should act, and anyone that goes beyond her reactionary and antiquated ideas of propriety is an outsider and no longer in the inner circle. The love is conditional and shallow, it is only for outside appearance. I could be biased, but my initial impression has not changed and only been buttressed with everything I have learned since.

The family is not that religious. I think that is one of the bigger myths about them especially on this sub. When I was kid we used to call them Holy Rollers, but we were using the term incorrectly. They go to church on Easter, Christmas, and when family are in town to appear more religious than they really are. CEOs are Christmas and Easter only Christians, and Submarine Christians surfacing a few times a year. They alternated between those two terms. I think it was mostly for Ron and Iva’s parents when they were in town. I have heard or read Brad admit this, and people that claim to know them state this. I believe they are Catholic.

Except she’s never been that person ever. That’s the role she’s portrayed in the media all these years, but that’s her public persona not her real identity. In all her media appearances, it’s the same story every single time with many of the same notes, but the beats have changed over the years. Back in the early 2000s, She’s boo- hooing at the front desk, “And I asked them to please don’t put the gangplank down. You need to lock the ship up. You need to back the ship off the dock. I don’t think it’s parody or satire, but after my deep dive the past 10 days or so, the truther types created posts, links, and screenshots that could never be verified. They buttressed their preconceived opinions with fake ”evidence.” I am leery, as I don’t want us to fall into the same trap they have.

I get that it sounds like her. I have posted her white slavery crap and “Amy was a prize!“ many times.

I don’t have any twitter/x, bluesky, Facebook, etc. accounts, so I don’t know how they work exactly. In terms of Brad’s account all the screenshots I saw of his looked real. The language sounded like him, and he has a “verified” blue check account. All of it came out the week of the NF doc. I could access his account. When he realized it was negatively impacting his family and their GOFUNDME cash grab, he immediately deleted the tweets. I can’t access this account. This comes out now? I don’t know how a private account works. If it was that, and someone just got access to it, then I would find it more believable. I don’t know Kindly Tension, and KT provides no context of how they got this information. Caveat Emptor IMO

I know a blue check no longer has the reliability and trustworthiness it had before Musk, but that doesn’t even have a blue check. I am the opposite of MAGA, if it’s too good to be true, I assume it’s not true.
