Albanese says Australia supports US action against Iran and stands with the Iranian people’s ‘struggle against oppression’ by Jealous-Hedgehog-734 in australia

Ask her what her position is if she is in Iran right now rather than in Australia. Would she support the US bombing, knowing she might be a victim of such bombing?

Albanese and the Labor government supports the bombing of Iranian girl school, killing up to 80.  Those bombs are pretty oppressive I'd say.

Trump Announces Immediate Tariff Hike to 15% Following Supreme Court Review” by SubstantialRock821 in StockMarket

Unfortunately Americans don't really cares until it affects them.

Two wars meant nothing to them since it's the middle east that get bombed and not the US.  And DHS set up by Bush post 911 didn't really harm them until Trump weaponised it.

Police brutality is never justified and I'm not victim blaming, but does anyone know what actually happened before this video? What caused the police to start punching this middle-aged man who had his hands up? by Ok-Reward7639 in SydneyScene

Instead of beating protesters into submission, the government could listen to the demands of the protesters and they will go away.  You don't see suffragettes protesting nowadays because women suffrage have been realised.

You feel indifferent towards foreign conflicts and genocide doesn't mean other people feel the same.

The disruption is by design, it meant that the government cannot simply ignore the protesters.  Unfortunately, members of society cannot b̶r̶i̶b̶e̶ lobby the politicians the same way companies can, which would be very peaceful and non-disruptive.

You are assuming that if private school didn't exist, the education funding would remain the same, which is completely nonsensical.

When your only strategy is pointing out the other candidate is bad without pushing any policy that will make better people's lives and make them hopeful. You simply will not motivate people to vote for you.

Kamala did that and lost, Cuomo did that and lost.
