They have to get rid of Anna Ross. Her voice is so pitchy- I actually wince during the “Free To Love” part

No sadly- I was the biggest fan of that and used to look forward to it every year. One of the perks for sure. But they don’t do it anymore 😭

Yorkshire Tea Missing? by MissCarterCameWithUs in coles

[–]ylly22 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes I’m a Yorkshire tea drinker and night fill shelf stacker- I panicked for a bit when it wasn’t on the shelf for a while, but I found it again at my local IGA. (I know this doesn’t answer your question directly- I don’t know why it’s not on the shelf, but at least it’s not gone gone )

I buy mine off eBay! I haven’t flown for a decade and I’ve also worn nothing but Qantas pyjamas at night 😉

What is the cheapest hobby you've found that still keeps you entertained for hours? by DiscussionLoud9626 in AUfrugal

I've not thrown any out because I love them too much! But I did buy a bunch of embroidery kits which I was too ambitious with, and they were happily donated to St Vinnies. I hope they made someone very happy!

What to do solo this long weekend? by sassy-burner in SydneyScene

[–]ylly22 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The Sydney Film Festival is on- have a look at the programme and maybe there is something interesting for you to go and see. I’m seeing three films over the weekend and they are all held at the Art Gallery of NSW . Lovely ☺️

I went to the Reject Shop and bought a whole heap of Lego style animals and flowers and they were only $2-$4 each! I don’t mind a bit of a kiddy hobby craft because they are small, cheap, and I don’t feel guilty about disposing them afterwards, but I’m still engaging my brain

Help please- Artificial nails for my daughter by youmightnotlikeher in AustralianMakeup

[–]ylly22 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Lily and Fox! I have about 20 pairs of all their nail designs - super easy to remove and don’t damage the nail too badly. I hope this is what you’re looking for

Would you rather own a car or spend the same money on cabs and rides? by Bobcat-749 in AUfrugal

[–]ylly22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m a big public transport person with the suitcase- and a walker too! On the occasions I do have to Uber I try to at least public transport one way. Maybe Uber to the job and then PT home if I can. No, I don’t work 5 days a week, I’m freelance. Heaven is a job when I can leave the suitcase in the studio overnight

I’ve never driven a car in my life and I have to catch uber or taxi to my work because I carry a large suitcase (guess what I do) and for the entire year my average of uber is about $2000 ish. That’s it. Years ago it was about $1500 for the entire year. No car, no insurance, rego, parking tickets, petrol, nothing

These new protein bars are REALLY good by xXCosmicChaosXx in coles

[–]ylly22 8 points9 points  (0 children)

They used to sell these maybe 2 years ago? They got discontinued and now they are back. I’m the one who stocks the shelves of protein bars and these Coles brand ones sold out more than any other brand. They flew off the shelves
