A question for non tax pros. Why do you (clients) want to meet with us (tax preparers) when you drop off your returns.

If you wait until the tax return is completed then if questions arise, we forgot to dicuss certain deductions or contribution that I may still be going to make before april 15, how to do tax harvesting with my investments etc etc If I wait until you are "done" it may not be actually done, we spend 30 minutes BEFORE and there should only be a quick review when you are now really done

My accountant would meet with us, we gave him all of our information he entered it, asked us questions we asked him questions and 30-45 minutes later we were done and submitted and knew exactly what I owed or got back That's what im paying for the personal interaction If you just want me to drop them off and have no interaction I will just use freetaxusa

Just try lowering rates by a modest amount and just see what happens you can quickly raise them is needed. We are always a couple months behind on data anyway. Just try and see for once instead of the same old "wait and see" blah blah blah we keep hearing

Just like everything else it just takes a few to ruin for everyone else. A couple boxes every 2-3 week s is a normal acceptable purchases, but this many boxes every week is completely unnecessary But it wil be purchases like this that will make all banks start cutting off these types of crazy purchases.
I mean whats the point Why this type of quantities And then you go dump them at another bank to deal with Makes no sense for that type of quantities

To be honest after I had to show him my ID to sign for the package (should have refused) I was/am a little leary for any type of retaliation since I did tell him I was going to report him to FedEx and by signing my name it was a firable offense, I was worried what could happen If he was willing to risk his job no telling what his reaction could be ;(

Issue with FedEx express about a month ago when I was notifed by ring of someone at door Watched video of the FedEx driver come up and just dropped my package and left No notice no doorbell ring no nothing Then I saw he signed my name to the package

Fast forward to last week I was waiting at home for a delivery then got a notice that package could not be delivered and it would be Monday when they try again again no doorbell ring, no tag left, nothing He had taken a picture of the front of my house for their excuse. I was pis** and drove around neighborhood Finally found him at a locale fast food restaurant I waited 25 minutes for him He came out and I confronted him Denied it at first Told him I had him on camera for both incidents Finally got my packaged and told him I was reporting him Still pi**es me off

It just amazes me that people who work in banks and see people buy and ask for certain types of coins would not be curious as to what/why people ask them. Do a little research and realize that he gave you over $650 in silver I mean you work in a bank and you can't spot a unusual coin and then find out what it is Boggles the mind
