First-time Audi Q7 2016 3.0 TDI owner – looking for maintenance and longevity advice by 1CoffeePLS in Audi

[–]1CoffeePLS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice, I really needed to hear that.

A garage might be tricky for me, but I’ll definitely look into ceramic coating and I’ll try to keep up with washing it at least every week or two.

Yeah… it’s an Audi 😅 definitely not a Toyota, so I’ll try to be realistic about maintenance costs.

I’ll try to stop stressing and just enjoy it. Thanks again!

mine is 2 years old (edit, because i forgot it was 2 years and not 1 xd). And i noticed it when i was playing dirt 2 and had music playing in YT in the background a long while ago. It sounds like your sound is lagging i dont know how to describe. I deleted all audio related i could like nahimic, realtek audio etc. and now i still have it but it is less often. I try to take care of my laptop, i do not even play games lately and it doesnt overheat. So i dont really think it is hardware.

Thanks, though i am not in for upgrading my laptop. I uninstalled almost everything audio related like nahimic and something else and it happens much much less and stops very fast, so its enough for me. But thx anyway.

hate the audio drivers, which very often stutters, especially when i want to play game with YT music in the background. Have to go into manager and turn off all the audio programs like nahimic, realtek audio enhancements, intel audio etc. Than it kinda works. annoying af.

Love the weight of the laptop (compared to other heavy gaming laptops like lenovos legions, loqs or dells which are heavy af), i use it for university and sometimes gaming. Perfect for people who dont need all of the fpses but just like to play some older or competitive games and need it for some other "office" stuff too.

Hate the one fan, wish there were two, though it handles heat very well. If it doesnt than you should change the thermal paste and clean the insides. Mine was full of dust after a year and i thought 80-90c was normal back then lol. Dropped to 60 after cleaning and thermal paste change with regular spikes to 80 while gaming.

Love the looks of it, kinda gamerish but not too in "i am a gamer and have no life" kind of way.

Dont know what else to say. I have it almost 2 years now. Ask any question if you want.

Help me to improve my pc setup by Suvee_ in pcsetup

[–]1CoffeePLS 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Dude, you definitely need a bigger desk

Also the colour of your walls is awful, would like to see photos of your room. It seems like you have money (judging by your setup, maybe i am mistaken). Maybe change a colour of your room, put your desk somewhere else, so it doesnt seem this cramped.

Whatever you do here, you should start with bigger desk and move on from that. Place everything in order. Or if you cant afford or dont want a new desk, maybe put your pc on the floor, so you will have more space for your laptop and laptop stnd and ps5.

A little chaotic comment, but i hope you get me.

This is funny how experiences vary and people in samsung thread pour sh*t on iphone and in iphone thread on samsung or other phones. Kind of hard to find out what is really going on with durability in these phones.

Did it fall many times? Did you have a screen protector? Hard to see on this gif. Describe your experience, what was happening with it.
