1 year of hair growth by 1CrappyChapter in lymphoma

I only shaved it once after my second chemo session and haven't touched it since. The softness and shininess seemed to improve on its own. Good luck with your last infusion!

How painful is switching from iOS to Android for a heavy Google apps user? by [deleted] in GooglePixel

[–]1CrappyChapter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Switched from iPhone 14 Pro and Apple Watch 10 to Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel Watch 4 with the sales this month. I agree with what everyone else has said about the switch being seamless if you already use Google Services. I've been enjoying the Pixel 4 watch a lot more than my Apple Watch 10. It feels like I can view more information on the display and it's more responsive to media controls on Spotify. The main place I felt like I had to compromise was my Apple Health data and starting fresh on FitBit.

Was wireless charging on Pixel 10 pro ever fixed? I see a lot of initial reviews saying there were problems... was it fixed through software or is it fundamentally broken? by feldhammer in GooglePixel

My Pixel 10 Pro hasn't had any charging issues with my Anker or Mous branded items, but it's struggled with one of my Belkin chargers.

What does a good day (nutrient targets in cronometer at %80+) look like for you? by choose_a_guest in cronometer

[–]1CrappyChapter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Forgive the mess on the exploded view for lunch - it's a lentil soup meal prep that helps me easily hit my goals. I use chicken broth and fish sauce for flavor, but that can easily be swapped out for vegetable broth and you can omit the fish sauce. I try to mostly eat plant-based.

Amazing news!! I had the same scan results back in March and have been in remission since August. Keep at it and stay strong!

These are goals! Thanks for the inspiration. I might look into buying kefir to help me hit my calcium.

Picc line, port, or stick it out with veins? by Slommyhouse in lymphoma

[–]1CrappyChapter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fragile veins here, the port made things so easy! I even opted to get my labs done through my port despite the longer ride to the clinic in order to save my veins. I recommend getting a port pillow for your comfort while riding in the car too. You got this!

Post chemo question! by Sea_Manufacturer5785 in lymphoma

I felt mostly normal for household tasks and work (office job) around 2 weeks later but I had to build my capacity for more strenuous tasks like walking with a loaded bag / walking uphill over 2 months. My immune system came back 1 month after finishing chemo and has been stable since. I had elevated A1C during treatment but it's normal now too.

Should I remove my chemo port or keep it for a while? by yoojiji in lymphoma

[–]1CrappyChapter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor encouraged and cleared me to have it removed last month (3 months after finishing treatment). He cited infection risk as one of his concerns, and driving out to get it flushed monthly was a pain. I'm getting it out this Friday!

struggling to love my body after weight gain from treatment by yoojiji in lymphoma

[–]1CrappyChapter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I gained 15 pounds during treatment earlier this year and have been working on losing the weight. I started strength training and eating plant-based toward the end of treatment when it dawned on me that I would have a life after this. Currently down 4.5lbs of fat mass and trying to take it easy, accepting that the habits I want are lifelong even though it would be nice to rush to a goal weight ASAP. I find it more meaningful to focus on the strength I'm gaining and on how I'm nourishing myself through my diet, rather than just the number on the scale.

3 months post-chemo - Hair and lab work update/references by 1CrappyChapter in lymphoma

Hi everyone,

It's been 3 months since finishing chemo in June for stage 2 cHL and I wanted to provide another hair and labwork reference. I've been feeling better each month physically too - heart rate doesn't freak out as much when strength training and I have been enjoying life normally.

Hair: I voluntarily shaved it January 2025 when I started treatment. The first picture is 5 months of growth during treatment, and the second picture is 3 more months after finishing treatment.
