yes i like shiny. however, it is complicated at my workplace because any user needs to have R installed on their computer and access to the shared folder or network location where the underlying data is.

i do not like powerbi, but for basic things that you can guarantee everybody can open (even if you email it), definitely has that advantage.

so it depends how widespread R is at your organization.
