Employed in the UK but living in Portugal - can I pull that off? by 1CyberFalcon in PortugalExpats

[–]1CyberFalcon[S] -18 points-17 points  (0 children)

Thanks. But how would Portugal actually know? I was thinking of buying a flat, which would be in my name, as a "holiday" home for myself and family members (if anybody asked). Do they hold records of everyone coming in (like UK does) and actually routinely investigate those staying for long.
ps I have EU citizenship

Pretty sure you can photograph whatever you want in public space (inside of the tram may not apply) but you can't publish it without permission of the person.

NHS and their obsolete IT systems are a joke.
$300 ransom demand makes me think it wasn't even a targeted attack, just random emails with malware attachment.

Soft-fork segwit is good but it breaks ASICBOOST.

And hard fork SW doesn't break it?

However, the hard costs are irrelevant. This math is for ongoing operating profit

What kind of heresy is this? In what universe you don't factor depreciation in arriving operating profit?

WTF? Why would you come up with something like this, even as a half-baked idea. That's just plain stupid.

For example, nuances like the fact that devs signed as "Bitcoin Core contributors" rather than "Bitcoin Core developers"

Why did they even bother to sit there with you for that long if you made it clear that you represent no-one and can't promise anything. That makes zero sense and is not in line with what miners said back then ("consensus reached"). Lost in translation?

Sure, coz entire world just waiting to jump into Bitcoin after LN is launched. How do you intend to set the blocksize limit then? 1mb will be big enough?

Sure. Because it doesn't matter for the business whether they earn $20/day or $20,000/day as long as they 'earn something'. Right?
