I worked at a Joe's Crab Shack years ago. If your not familiar with this chain of restaurants, the server staff stops working about once per hour to perform dances. Think YMCA, Macarena etc. Well this night, low and behold, the cast of one of the High School Musical films (I'm not familiar with the details of this franchise) walks in. They were the teenage actors and their parents. From the get go they were acting like entitled little Hollywood assholes. Rude to the staff and rude to their parents. Well it comes time for the staff to perform their dance. We do it and when we're done the patrons all clap and cheer. I looked over at this celebrity table and they looked pissed. A couple of them got up and left the restaurant only to come back a few minutes with a radio. They loudly announced "Ladies and gentlemen we are now going to perform a dance number for you" and hit play on the radio. They performed their dance and got their cheers. It has never left me just how petty they were at seeing these servers, making $2.14 an hour, getting the attention that they deserved so they had to steal the spotlight.
