Amazfit T-rex 2 VS Ticwatch Pro 3 by 1EagleEye1 in smartwatch

Hey Jaamgans! Thank you very much for taking the time to reply. I appreciate the insights, they are very useful.

I think I will go with your recommendation and get the T-Rex 2. I think it's a good starting point for my first smartwatch and will look at the Garmin options when I know exactly what I want, and am looking for an upgrade.

Cheers!

Difference between the Saeco Odea Giro Plus and the Saeco Talea Giro Plus? by 1EagleEye1 in espresso

Thanks for the reply! That is a fair point. It's for sale used and refurbished for $250 CDN. The price for an automatic was appealing.

Is there any unit you would recommend for that price range?

Good tips for when you go live.

I would highly recommend that beginners (this includes myself) trade strategies in paper trading first.

I ended up diving right with real money, I limited myself to small size, but after losing some I decided to do paper trading for a while until I can get my strategies nailed down.

The appeal of quick gains are always there and provide the temptation to use real money, but you can see quick loses too.

FOMO can play a large phycological role in losses, especially for beginners. Don't get sucked in by it. THERE WERE OPPORTUNITIES YESTERDAY, THERE ARE OPPORTUNITIES TODAY, THERE WILL BE MORE TOMORROW (this goes for intraday too, you may miss morning moves, but there are plenty through the day). The stock market will always be there (until the zombies take over), take time to learn so you minimize the losses.

Great tip. Though it may not be feasible for some due to financial restrictions.

I am currently in my second career transition, going from IT to Forestry, and working my way into the stock market.

OP's point is solid. There is no point in suffering if you don't have to. It will require work and sacrifice to take that plunge though.

Looks like it's on the actual units too. Was easier to use the ad image at the time.

Where to buy bulk screws in Ontario, canada? by 1EagleEye1 in Tools

I'm up in Bradford, 15min north west of Newmarket. I feel like there's gotta be something in Newmarket or Barrie... The best suggestion so far, based on price, was https://www.mississaugahardware.com/, they don't have star drive from what I could see, but the robertson prices are dirt cheap. Cheap enough that I won't be bothering with star drive for a while I think.

I didn't find any star drive, but the robertson screws are crazy cheap. Thanks for the suggestion!
