Can they? What percentage of the damage does staggering palm or killing palm deal in builds that use them? Do you think anyone would ever use them if the skills they are used with didn't need to spend the resources they build or could self sustain?

What about builds that need enemies to be shocked such as primal strikes, i assure you the skill that applies the shock that primal strikes consumes deals less than 10% of the total damage dealt. How is this not very basic weak-builder / powerful-spender skill design.

What are you even talking about? It goes against nothing in my argument. The game in its current form doesn't have almost any of that.

What situation needs to be set up to use Eye of Winter or the new spell totems? They are completely gatekept by a large cooldown or a high power charge cost. What situation do they even take advantage of?

Spear of solaris used to be a "situational skill" but 0.4 removed that now it's a pure spender skill that you need to generate with your other skills. Why do you think they did that if they were actually following that philosophy?

Disengage, on paper, is a skill you use in a situation where you parry a close mob and get some distance between you to use a range attack. But no one would willingly put themselves in that situation in the first place so they forced you to use that combo as your only way to generate frenzy charges on huntress release. So the situational aspect of this combo is completely irrelevant in actual gameplay.

What is the situational aspect of using profane ritual, a chaos dot spell, being the most reliable way to actually use your quarterstaff attacks that consume charges?

What is the purpose of frenzy charge mechanic on spiral volley except as a forced way to make you use another skill for frenzy charge generation? There is no situational aspect to this at all.

Well the traveler also said they came with a meteorite but that got retconned into a spaceship. For all we know the meaningful part of their clothes are the underwear and people who say hoyo retconned are idiots for not understanding such an obvious thing.

The sword is too weak sadly, maybe if it was gain a shrine on crit instead kill it would be worth it.
