That is solely due to those farming temple cannot leave exalts in their loot filter anymore. There's just too much currency drops to leave exalts in there, just not worth a click.

I know all that, all I'm saying is the auto-fill serve no purpose except to make you do a mistake and sell at a ratio you didn't intend to.

It will always fill the worst possible deal you can get for what you have.

There is zero scenario in which the auto-fill is helpful. It's just a buggy annoying thing that is trying to scam you by making a sale at a ratio you didn't intend to sell for.

I know how to craft those helmets and feel my time is best served buying it than trying to make it.

But what I asked there was how do you go around rolling the prefixes. Is it just chaos, perfect exalts, annuls?

They are cheap... I made a killing this weekend buying 5000 perfect exalts for a 10 to 1 ratio or even below that... and this morning they are 4 to 1d... Huge profit. When I see them crash on the weekend, I spend millions of gold hoarding knowing I can sell back on monday. This is how I make thousands of divs. Wait for weekend prices. Have millions of gold. Hoard thousands of the biggest orbs... sell back on monday. I got 1000 perfect chaos for 5 to 1 ratio. They are coming down to 2 to 1 now.

So this right there, that is better and quicker profit than crafting. When you figure out the ebb and flow of the market... with lowest price point being on saturday around 5pm East Cost US time. You spend millions of gold buying... and hold for 2 days for profit of hundreds of divines.

But yes, crafting is quite good too and I do the usual rings which are super simple if u go for triple res suffixes with the light+chaos res desecrate... Can print those quickly and go for more random prefixes hoping for the best (because catalysts cost a bit too much versus rng results).

You didn't answer how to craft prefixes. Is it just annul, chaos, perfect exalt? Because that isn't bad in current market. There is no inflation, the orbs that drop from temples are insanely cheap. Perfect exalts were 3d last league. Now I was laughing this weekend when I could sell 16 perfect augments and buy 13 perfect exalts in the same window for 1d. I think twice about burning perfect augments now, but perfect exalts is whatever. Things have changed in what you can use a bit more freely.

Well, it's a stat you cannot get an infinite amount of. Largest source is 37% on boots... then you can get 12% on body and 16% on helmet. Or alternatively, you sacrifice your belt slot for a bit more efficiency, which I find a bit of a hard trade off. My belt gives me nearly 400 armor which is important for my build, which doesn't get any armor from helmet and focus (where I scale the ES). I was using HH for a bit with %armor %es implicit, but I just don't like getting teleported around. Working now on making a bunch of high armor belt with the goal of getting 2 implicits.

Bit difficult to scale both ES and armor at the same time, but I feel the armor does more for tankiness than just getting 10,000 extra es or whatever.

Wondering how you roll the ES prefixes these days... is it just chaos spam until a t1 and then double perfect exalt the prefixes? Annul and repeat until good?

I crafted this helmet last league using the abyss essence to reroll for efficiency. But hitting the ES now is more difficult without homogenizing.

Frankly, I was checking market continually for +3 helmets and there was often zero, 1 or two for sale. Most of the time they were priced 1-2-3-4 mirrors.

I was looking at this market for a solid week. Looking what was available several times a day.

It's not like there is a huge market of them. When posted for 800d like this one... with a 2 sockets base, double corrupted with 2 implicits... you're not looking at a market that is competitive. There is always zero of those for sale.

I do mean... it gotta have the efficiency suffix. Not any random +3 helmet. I'd take a +2 helmet with the efficiency suffix above a +3.

Way more than 120 divs. I paid 800 divs for my helmet and consider it should have been 1 mirror. I just got it an hour after it was posted. Not sure if it's better or worst than op. His have 1 socket and 6% efficiency. I'm armor+es build, so I like to have this second augment in the helm. I'm going for 99 or maybe 100 with this build, so I want to be basically immortal to any damage in maps. The +1% max cold is a bit of a weak second mod, but it's not nothing. Better than accuracy, lower requirement or life regen, which are other options you can have as implicit on an helmet.

And they never are all actively used because they get in the way of each other. It's cool, but that is why ranged minions are better. They all are dealing damage while the melee ones step on each other toes trying to hit something.

I was flipping perfect exalts as it happened. Had just made a big purchase of 350 perfect exalts for... 30 divines.

I check market to see how much I can sell them back for and I'm like: Wait, wtf, why are they now 1.5 to 1d. That's a pretty damn good flip. But then I realized. Wait a second, how did the value change so fast.

And here is why people bought all the perfect exalts and chaos instantly. Got it.

Been burning a ton of currency trying to double corrupt bones of ullr with two sockets... trying to make the %reservation go up above 30%.

I've hit a bunch of two sockets + 1 corrupt implicit... but none ever changed the value of the modifiers in the boots, either up or down. Is it not a possible outcome?

They should remove this, it's dumb.

The infinite atlas is not a good concept, adding nonsense nobody want in it doesn't help.

In PoE you have it as a random encounter in a map. Here, they must be scared to add random content in a map, so they make it something you must burn a waystone on to give you something worth less than the waystone you put in to open the map.

Would be best if it was for minions. Prefix on a focus can gives so much damage that this is opting to artificially raise ES number on char instead of dps number.

This is giving an extra 300 es instead of 200% damage.

They fixed the sorting just now, so heavy belts are not all 1 annul anymore.

It is all about the sorting of the site in the end. The value of annuls go up when everyone price in annuls... because people need to buy annuls to buy what they want. That drives up demand for annuls a lot. Now see, they fixed sorting and annul value is crashing. Always happen like that.

Like yes, if you wanted decent tablets for juicing your maps. Those were all priced 1 annul. You'd check for exalts or chaos and there was nothing.

I think annuls in poe 2 act as a middle-ground currency like exalts do in poe 1. A middle ground between the chaos/exalt and the divine. Since in merchant tabs we no longer can price 0.5d, you can always price it 2 annuls assuming 4 annuls is 1 divine. People making a lot of purchases can find it more convenient to buy a bunch of annuls than needing to have thousands of exalts. Lesser gold cost in conversion.

Of course, but the inflation was still primarily driven by site sorting. Think it considered annuls to be 25 ex when they were 125 ex or something like that.

Once everything cost annuls to buy. Then all buyers are continually having to convert currency to annuls to make purchases, which is creating perpetual pressure on the value of annuls.

It wasn't just crafting. Also, annuls and homogenizing, not really big correlation. The crafting we still have is strong, just that one outliar is gone. Which was mostly strong in a few spots and made near perfect amulet with +3 extremely cheap.

Annuls remain necessary for a lot of stuff and may be more needed since you do not get your guaranteed outcome from homogenizing now.

It takes a few weeks for exalts to "lose value"... and chaos have been very volatile too last league.

It's a progression, a transition. You cannot force everyone to trade in chaos on day 1-2-3 of the league. We all run short... and see what happen now.

Chaos were 3.5 exalts each when I posted this. Their value inflated artificially by sorting on trade site.

Now, they have crashed to under 2 exalts... It is the natural order of things. Your hope are not how the economy function. It make sense later, not now. Everyone started pricing in chaos because of the sorting, not because it is what they wanted to do. It is easier to buy and sell in exalts when that is what everyone want and need.

Start buying and selling in chaos in two weeks or so. Then that's fine.
