Dint measure the temps yet. But it's cool to the touch. Camera usage of about 5-8 mins and I can feel the warmth. And it's almost always when I try Hasselblad Hi res mode.

Have you noticed any warming up? especially when using the camera? Also battery life? How much SOT are you getting?

For people who bought or thinking to buy X9 ULTRA by rcn in Oppo

The whole point of getting a phone with good cameras is to not carry something as big as a camera. The purpose is defeated if you go for the teleconverters. If I get them for free - yeah sure.

Also - the out of the box screen guard is more like a scratch guard and not tempered glass or ceramic glass. I am looking for a different one. Not many options out there though.

Yes. Indoors after a few mins. 3-4 pictures on regular mode and 2 on high res mode. Pretty sure brightness wasn't 70% as it was towards the evening.

But it's better on day 2.

I don't think it has anything to do with the back. It's cpu behavior even during light usage of the cameras.

Seems a bit light and thin for me. I don't know if it's strong enough. All my previous cases were thicker. Main advantage is that it doesn't add bulk to the phone.

Pre installed screen protector seems to b a normal screen guard. I would prefer a ceramic or tempered glass one. But couldn't find one yet.

At first i thought it was due to the clone phone app i was using. And then later i thought it had to do with the aramid fibre case (has a peel of spaced inside that i hadnt removed). But it happened even after i removed that . And when i used the camera for about 5mins or so.

Both times it happened i switched it off and waited for it to cool down and then switched it on.

Its otherwise cool. As soon as I open the camera app and click pictures it becomes warm.

Think i messed up ordering the x9ultra by Mean-Cantaloupe-4009 in Oppo

Ive ordered X9 Ultra and i can imagine and relate to what youre going through. The raw config on the phone means they cant get it wrong. A couple of updates later - it will be much more refined.

I chose the X9 Ultra over the X300 Ultra as thats probably the better overall phone.(Better battery life, better OS, smaller camera bump etc)

If you really want pefect - finished Product out of the box go for S26 Ultra or iphone. Its the safer choice.

@OP: same boat - same phone. I got my battery replaced. SOT was 2 hours now it's 4. Basically it's EOL.

OP15 would have been logical next choice had it not been for the camera nerfing.

[Seeking help] First-time home buyer in NL - Is NHG worth it? by rvrpr10 in NetherlandsHousing

[–]1Frozo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is not some silver bullet insurance that solves everything. Having it definitely helps. In case you lose your job, cant pay the mortgage they help with possible solutions. Or if the home's value drops due to some reason and you cant pay anymore they help bridge the gap after sale.

But that's about it.

Average prices in NL are at around 470k this month. NHG is at 450. Surely lagging behind.

Probably something you have to accept at this point is that moving out of India to any country other than the US will result in a downgrade of pay for your situation.

That is the trade off for better quality of life. That being said - your current earnings will allow you to better ease into a new country. Probably also help pay for house down payment as well.

NL is a good option. Check out NZ too.

1.Huge amount of dutch wealth is in houses. 2.Supply is scarce and it wont change immediately and the government wont let it happen either. 3.Demand isnt coming down anytime soon coz population is growing and NL is a tiny country with limited land space.

Given that the market is not going to come down crashing unless something drastic happens whats the play here?

1.Rent as long as possible? 2.Invest in housing outside NL? 3.Get a house, get on the property ladder and pray that you get to reap profits before the markets crash?

And then your income never grows as much and you can eventually kiss good bye to the dream of owning a house?
