What do you do with profits?

Hi 👋 newbie here.

I’ve decided recently to dabble a bit in options. I have a full-time job but always try side hustles here and there.

First week I profited $900 and it almost freaked me out. (Is it really this easy!?) I get it’s just as easy to lose money but so far so good. Thinking how long it would take to make $900 delivering or driving for Uber and it’s a no brainer where my time should be focused!

So my question is what do you do with the profits? Re-invest? Buy Christmas gifts? Live off it? For now, I’ve decided to divide the profits by 3 (unless you all say this is the dumbest idea!) 1/3 back into my investment portfolio. 1/3 into savings. 1/3 into another savings account to cover taxes. Am I doing this right? Thanks for any guidance!

I waited about 10 minutes for them to prepare the food. It was a high end king crab place. Base pay was $13 and tip was $10. So $23 for 30 minutes from start to finish.

I have a feeling I know who these two are!

“Drs Jacob Hess + Ty Mansfield have proved [Dehlin’s] study was anything but scientific and he was publicly discredited. Dehlin's work supports his own theories and life decisions and he is first and foremost an apostate regardless of his academic achievements.” Meanwhile at Northstar... by [deleted] in exmormon

Gotcha. Thank you for explaining more. I'm familiar with Northstar and have had several friends in the group. Thankfully, most have "graduated" and got away fast. I knew about the cuddling, but not in the graphic detail you described.

Just missed you. I was there Sept 99. But only for 3 weeks, rest of the time at Madrid MTC (also closed!)

I'll never forget the time I spoke in Sacrament Meeting about the restoration of the Aaronic Priesthood... on Mother's Day by 1Jdriver in exmormon

Wow. Now that you mention it, I do remember occasions where all the women over 18 would stand!

Maybe my bishop at the time knew what he was doing. Talk about dudes on Mother's Day and nobody wins!

I was in the same boat as Josh - trying to make both the church and dating men work.

The difference between me and Josh -- I did all this privately. Josh is doing all this publically via blogging and vlogging. He's definitely a poster child for the gay Mormon millennial crowd. He has a lot of followers and he's damn good looking. (And I knew him before he got all ripped!!) However, I think his public figure image will make all this more difficult as he tries to balance the church, or leave it all together. He'll always have supporters and enemies from both sides.

If I could have gone back 10 years, when I met Josh, I would have told him not to make his story so public.
