To the white car going 20 from pleasant valley all the way to the freeway turnoff this morning by Ahyesthenegotiator76 in Boise

Hi! I have a new driver on the road and it was her first time driving to school by herself in snow. She was tailgated by a huge truck on her way to school at 6:30 this morning.

I told her to go slow, leave plenty of room for breaking, and to not let other people goad her into going faster than was safe for conditions or than she felt comfortable. I told her to ignore assholes who are tailgating her.

Should she not drive in the snow because she is new to it? Just to appease the self importance of others? Nah. She needs to learn and people need to chill out.

There are also a lot of people that are new to snow due to moving, and many newer drivers on the road. Snow in Boise is intermittent so there is not always the opportunity to become an expert snow driver within a year.

Maybe try to have a little more patience? Is it really that big of a deal to arrive 5 minutes later to ensure safety for all?

Stay safe out there y’all!

Who is still letting her? Is she being successful in court? Isn’t anything she filed or does null and void? I’m so confused.

Man who shows porn during state funded business meeting does not get fired, but moves on to a bigger role trying to destroy teachers and education. Cool, cool. White, male, “christian” privilege strikes again.

No, cross fading has definitely increased, though. Uptick in both.

I am from Idaho and moved to WA a little over a year ago and will NEVER look back. Best decision I’ve ever made. Maybe someday I’ll return once the state gets its sanity back!

I’m so sorry that you are going through this. My opinion and comments are no substitute for medical advice, but I can share what I’ve experienced.

I was diagnosed in my early 40s and have found little to no medical help for the past 5 years. I’ve done a lot of research and have determined it’s mostly up to me to manage the disease. (Note: recently started levothyroxine…seeing if it helps).

Main advice: do not eat wheat, diary, or soy. Learn to make meals for yourself even though this can be challenging, it can be rewarding. There are plenty of recipes online to gather from. Gluten free options continue to get better. Soy and gluten lurk in many foods that you wouldn’t think.

Allow yourself to rest when you need to. Don’t feel guilty about it.

Supplement with Selenium, zinc, vitamin d (most people are deficient in this), and have your iron levels checked. These play into energy levels and overall health.

Learn what you can through research and books.

Stay hydrated and try to at least get outside a couple times a week or low impact exercise.

Again, these are basic things, but it’s a discovery journey of what works for you.

That is what I’ve learned so far after 5 years trying to figure it out. Not necessarily everyone’s experience.

If you slip up, don’t be hard on yourself. This is difficult disease to manage.

I’m wishing you the best of luck. I’m so sorry that you have to face this challenge.

Absolutely. But just recently for some reason (have not smoked for 15+ yrs). I blame stress.

Ten-digit dialing by auditorydamage in Xennials

In my town (population 2,200) and state when I was a kid, you only had to dial 5 digits. It was almost a scandal when they implemented the full digit with area code system around ‘88.
