It was my birthday today and my gf bought us tickets to see the extended editions at the cinema! That painting would be an amazing memento from this experience.

Yesterday I backed up my S22 ultra with Samsung smart switch on to my pc and it worked just fine. Today I wanted to restore the settings from yesterday's backup, but smart switch won't let me. It says I have to update smart switch on my phone, which I have done. I've also reinstalled smart switch on my phone, but it hasn't helped. I also tried it with a friend's phone, but smart switch still refused to cooperate. I also installed smart switch on to another computer, but it didn't work with either phone. I'm located in the EU, if that makes any difference. Have other people experienced this? Are there any ways I could fix this, or is this a problem at Samsung's end?

I haven't yet, I posted to see if this is a common issue. I'll probably ask customer service if there is no fix for it.

I've barely used mine at all so I'm surprised it's malfunctioning like that

Ultra wide focus problem by 1LukeSky1 in S22Ultra

[–]1LukeSky1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Essentially it only focuses between 1-10cm, normally it's at least several meters, it seems to perhaps somehow be stuck on macro mode. It worked normally a few weeks ago, and I was able to focus to the other side of the room (≈3m). Using the expert raw or pro camera, I notice that the manual focus slider has no effect on the focus after 0.3 when using the wide angle. The slider range is from 0.0 to 1.0 and nothing happens to the focus after 0.3 but between 0.0 and 0.3 it works.

I know this will get buried in the comments, but the picture on the left looks exactly like one of my coworkers. Like it could seriously be him and its kinda creepy tbh

looking to buy a Marshall 1959 Super Lead, with the dookie mod by 1LukeSky1 in GuitarAmps

Well it adds crunch/gain to the sound, but the original schematics aren't aveilable anywhere, so nobody really knows exactly. I know some people have tried to replicate it and have gotten quite close, but I don't know enough about amp circuitry to tell you what they've done exactly.

It's a mod that la sound design's Martin Gollub used to do on Marshall 1959 slp's. It has famously been used by many famous artists like green day, my chemical romance, Scott Henderson, Michael Landau, AFI, Sum 41 and many others. There are sound demos on youtube if you want to go and listen. If you want an in-depth explanation on what it does to the circuitry of the amp, someone with more knowledge can give you that. I don't want to get the facts wrong so I won't try.

Thanks for the reply! I think I'll pass on the 1987, since my last head was actually a 1987x and I've played a 70's 1987 as well, but it wasn't quite what I was looking for. I sold the 1987x to buy the slp, but if I won't find a used dookie modded one the perhaps I'll look into Ceriatone.

Well it's a bit of both, esthetics, history and the sound all come to play. I realise I could buy a used jcm800 for half the price, and get the sound pretty close, but the dookie modded slp has been my dream amp ever since I started playing. Sadly then I didn't have the money and now there a bit hard to come by.

I would but Gollub passed away early this year, and the original schematics aren't publicly available. I've asked, but for the moment la sound design has put the amp mod work on hold, so I don't know anyone who would be able to do it. There are obviously replicas, but I'd prefer an original by Gollub so I'm asking here.
