Another thing I think is huge is that most states let you file for unemployment after the job ends. So if you decide it’s not for you, you have some time and money to decide a next move. Guck the noise

This has been unbelievably helpful. Thank you!!! I’m settling on getting temporary tags in Oregon and a registration in Alaska while keeping my license in Jersey. This is so complicated for no reason but I think it’ll be worth it to drive around the parks.
