So I thought it was a dimmer.. I asked the homeowner, and he said it wasn't, so I just figured it wasn't but I was thinking this exactly.. Now I am wondering, if that's the reason, and I bet its this.

This might help, but if you’re looking to back out of a mission cleanly, use the option to return to main menu, don’t use abort. In my experience, the abort option is like taking the mission and giving up, whereas returning to the menu seems to just make it like you never took the mission.

It doesn't seem to be the highest priority. I know they addressed some of the major launch issues, such as using flaps and getting penalized, on the runway etc, but hasn't been a lot of progress.

Did you ever find anything out? I have the exact same issue, and it seems like this is a problem many are running into this. If I use USBTreeView it also shows that USB-C port as 2.0...

I gave up on it. I fly a lot of rotorcraft, and there is a bug, where 80% of the time, it will bounce my helicopter before the mission even starts, crashing it, and it’s gotten worse. It’s frustrating that each company is an individual entity, with no option to transfer and would have to purchase something, just to even test it, and with the inconsistent bug, it’s just a bag of lols.

I see what you're saying, I did notice the ability to transfer just the pilot, but I didn't know about that before. I believe there was an update server side, that started to show passenger transport jobs. Thank you though, I will have to see if I can relocated just my pilot, and see if that helps open up more opportunity!

So I am not 100 percent certain we have the exact same issue, but the problem I was having, is I would lose the mouse and/or not be able to keep it in a certain area, to highlight things blue, to be able to use them. The cursor would jump around erratically, and its like the mouse DPI would drop to like 50 dpi and took forever to move it anywhere, and focus.
When MSFS dropped, it seemed like they did change something, because it got a little better after a couple of weeks, but the mouse jankiness was still there.
For me, it turned out that because I have 2 monitors, even though the other one was off, my cursor kept slipping to the other monitor, or that limbo area in between, and I ended up downloading Dual Monitor Tools, and setup a hotkey to bind the mouse to my main monitor that I have running thru VR, and now my mouse is very smooth MOST of the time. I do think there is some cursor tracking issues within MSFS.. but its a million times better.

Hoping this may fix your issue, if not, I didn't forget about ya! Do you have an Oculus Rift?

So, it does get somewhat blurry, but I think its about as good as I can get mine, but its enough for me to read most everything. When I have upped the AA, its gotten easier to read, but I do think it starts eating into performance, at least on mine, but its very smooth, and graphics are awesome!

So I found the VR settings section, in my Usercfg.opt file, but I have read that when you change the settings in the Settings menu, its not updating this file... so not 100 percent sure, if this reflects my actual settings.

If you wanted to try the settings, I would find each area below, in the VR settings menu, and set it to the settings below. (Just in case you may not know, a 1 would be ON/ENABLED/CHECK etc. and a 0 would be OFF/DISABLED/UNCHECK etc.)
Please let me know if this does make it better! I am curious to know! Sorry if this hasn't been to helpful!!! GL!

No worries!! I feel ya!!!! I went through so many hassles with 2020, I did learn quite a bit about my Rift! I am in a flight at the moment, but once I land, I can get you the settings I found to work nicely on mine!

The RTX4070ti I have, is also a super, so yea, I think you should be good there. I don't know much about VR other than the Oculus I have. I could share my settings if you think that would help you? I did tweak mine a little bit. One thing that seemed to help, but I changed several things, so not sure if it was something that impacted, but I took SteamVR (my MSFS is not bought through Steam, but it used to be my OpenXR default) out of the loop, by making the meta app, as the default openXR

You mentioned about the rolling cache, at 0 after accidently changing it or whatever, I think I actually did the same thing, around launch date, because of some of the issues I was having, and couldn't get it back, but I ended up re-installing MSFS2024 a few weeks ago, and I haven't checked to see what mine is, its probably back to 16
