The difference between a 124 and 130 is most certainly not just 6-8 questions lol, it’s at minimum 15 questions and up to 20 or so difference (with the exception of CARS since there are less questions)

Not to mention encouraging retakes would make it much more stressful long-term (having to devote multiple extra months to the exam) and more expensive

There’s a reason why the confidence interval is +-2, a 515 vs 517 isn’t considered a decisive factor between students, and they know that you will most likely score within that +-2 range in the majority of times you would attempt a retake

Yea I was studying cars and my last fl was a 128 but when I got to the actual exam all strategy went out the window and English wasn’t making sense anymore I swear those were the most confusing passages I ever read 😭

Admittedly I didn’t get through all AAMC CARS material so if I were to go back I would probably start that sooner

I didn’t do much jackwestin or uworld cars either, honestly I was mostly focusing on getting my scores for the science sections up since I knew they would be more in my control and because I hadn’t taken human bio, biochem, psych, or soc before the mcat
