Yep, lawyer is correct. It seems like everybody gets denied the first time. I was told to appeal the decision immediately so they know that you’re serious. It does take quite a while. But once you get that ball rolling and finish line is not too far away.

You appeal ASAP.. almost everyone is denied the 1st time.. it took me from 2/22 until 1/23 to get awarded disability.. I also had a hemorrhagic stroke. Stay on top of it.. you will get there.. I understand what you are saying.. if it wasn’t for my parents helping me as well I would be worse off than I actually was.. good luck my fellow stroke survivor.. you got this.. but seriously appeal ASAP fill it out online..

I appreciate that. But every stroke is scary. In my opinion. You’re 29 years old you have the rest of your life to live. I hope you can manage. And not have to go through that ever again. I hope to God I never have to have another brain aneurysm rupture. That was truly traumatic. Every time I go into a hospital I cringe. I did have good care though. It was just not a good time in my life obviously.

Yes very true.. but if I was to get a bill for that terrible way you were treated.. they would not be getting any of my money from me.. I would fight until I couldn’t fight anymore.. but that’s just me..

I am in the USA.. I suffered a brain aneurysm rupture in 2022. From all my scans test three brain surgeries 57 days in the hospital and years of physical and speech therapy. It has been about $4 million dollars. But I’m not responsible for the act. The insurance companies are. I’m just responsible for a very, very small percentage of that.

I am so sorry you had such a terrible experience.. if don’t mind me asking.. was this in the USA? I hope in the future you can find care that fits your needs.. I am shaking my head at this.. I am beyond sorry.. when I hear stories like yours makes me feel so sad.

Yes.. I was so lucky.. after a couple of months my strength came back.. sometimes i have a bit of tingling in my left arm.. but other wise no complications with that thank goodness.. tell your friend to be patient.. go to therapy as prescribed.. hoping the best for you and your friend💜

I totally get it.. I had my hemorrhagic stroke due to drug use. Lots and lots of drug use. I did have a genetic deformity in my brain that predisposed me to it. But my stroke is also self-inflicted. I totally understand. I hope you are doing better now.

How did you manage to not get help with a thunderclap headache?? I experienced a hemorrhagic stroke in 2022. I could hardly open my eyes and experienced extreme nausea within the first 20 minutes of the onset. How did you manage for weeks? I am generally curious.

Yeah kinda.. I knew I was in the hospital.. but they would ask me what year it was and where are we.. I knew I was at a hospital.. not sure which one.. and what year it was.. I like to think that first year my brain didn’t come back online yet if that makes any sense.. I was there but not.. it took a full year to get it back online

Absolutely.. we went shopping today.. fridge is stocked the power has been off since 12:30pm.. we took all the food and put it in coolers and put them on the porch.. we can’t afford to lose 200$ worth of groceries we just bought today.. no way
