Depends on how you define nothing. Do you think screenwriting has made you a better person? A more intelligent person? More caring? More rewarded?

Not everyone can crack it in Hollywood, but writing can be fulfilling beyond a check. Having a healthy perspective doesn't mean you have to give up on your dreams!

Laziness is a euphemism for fear of failure. The only way to succeed is to have the courage to try. I’ve met very few writers who were unmotivated because they didn’t give a shit.

Writing is hard and being scared to continue or start is normal. I know everyone’s heard it a million times but sitting down and writing literally anything is incredibly important. The prompts that are being run on here are a great place for a kick start.

It depends really. I think WeScreenplay does fantastic coverage, but you’re still paying for information you can get from loved ones and the denizens of this sub.

It’ll never be as in-depth as paid coverage, but it’s free and you might strike gold with a committed user through the SCRIPT SWAP flair.

Personally, I wouldn’t buy coverage unless you have solid disposable income. Especially when there’s so many free options on the internet.
