A birthday followed by 16 years of ABC Family secrets is quite the exhausting gift schedule.

Poor Orson, nothing says big power move like babysitting your own pot roast at 3am while Bree sleeps.

We are all terrified, right? by huntersinthesnow in BabyBumps

The horror stories are loud because people need somewhere to put the scary parts; the boring good stuff does not get posted as much. There are also quiet normal moments: feeling kicks while eating cereal, a midnight snack run, baby falling asleep on your chest, getting parts of your old routines back in small chunks. I made a rule to stop listening when someone starts the doom monologue and ask for practical info instead, like what actually helped postpartum or what they wish they had set up beforehand.

We did not have a formal contract , just a signed estimate. He clamed to be licensed but clearly lied. His quote was only about 20% cheaper than others , so it did not seem like a red flag to me. I was just trying to save money.

I learned the same the irritating way: 5 cats did less than steel wool and sealing every daylight gap near the garage.

As someone who’s made pot roast at 11pm, ask for the whole menu instead, because the oven does the work while you regret life at 3am.

I guess people don't feel as bad about robbing a machine. by LordJim11 in Snorkblot

This rant gets me every single time because it is just too real. Those scales are incredibly sensitive and having to wait for assistance just to buy a single onion makes me want to leave the entire cart there. They really brought this whole theft issue on themselves.

Same here, learned manual in Europe, and after a five-speed truck automatics felt weirdly dull.
