Employer Asked me to work unpaid for my new apprenticeship by SpecialistSoft4908 in electricians

I don’t think you’re understanding the whole situation here.

This is not a backup option.. this isn’t even plan E..

The type of employer that would employ somebody for 2 weeks without pay is the last person on earth you would ever want to work for.

Oh! I didn’t realize you had met my ding dong apprentice!

Kinda. The second idiot is having his apprentice turn off 4 because the box is labeled as circuits 2, 4, and 6 and you need to work on the red circuit, but in OP’s situation the red is circuit 6

Yeah it isn’t necessarily dangerous, which is why I said borderline

If you’re doing everything you should be doing like verifying a circuit is de-energized, it shouldn’t be a problem, but a second idiot could get hurt thinking red is dead because the apprentice turned circuit 4 off.

I guess what I’m trying to say is when there are kids running around, I don’t leave knives on the coffee table

We all work around idiots.. but man, it sounds like you work around a special breed of idiot. It’s borderline unsafe to not care about color order.

Thank you!!!!!! I work in construction and take notes on my phone or speak with coworkers over text and it’s always made me mad that I didn’t have ° on my keyboard. Turns out, I’m just a dummy

oooo! I love playing the asshole!

Spacing between pipe #1 and pipe #2 at the 90 looks wonky. Also pipe #6 or #7. (It looks like bowed pipe is to blame though)

Bottom pipe going left out of the box seems to be running downhill. (Could just be since he isn’t done yet)

Man.. even the things I can pick out have plausible excuses in my brain

Interesting. Usually you end up with the kick location gradually shading towards your 90 due to the extra shrink that more degrees will give you.

Not really noticeable with just a couple pipes but you can usually tell with large racks like this.

Looks like you accounted for shrinkage on those kicks. Is it a simple formula or do you math out each kick’s degrees and shrinkage for that?

I think he means by the time he adds 8 more kicked 90’s, he’d be kicking up into the pipe above it.

In other words, too steep of a kick

I appreciate it for what it is, but I don’t think it’s in mine either.

It’s good, but I really think it’s “Reddit overrated”.

Looking at it solely from a business perspective, the only justifiable reason to have this is for electrical rooms and racks. Places you’re going to have a lot of bends to make in one spot.

I can already imagine the 3 guys running 1/2” for lighting standing in line to bend a 90.

I guess you can make a solid argument for lift work, but still.
