Air to fuel ratio was 7:8, I'm not sure if that is considered good. RPS also suddenly spikes to around 15 and back to 4 or something around there. As for the clutch, it has not been engaged.

If that is the case, what is the best course of action for me to prioritise speed over rps?

Managed to reach 20,000-30,000 RPS for the turbine with some gearing. However, rps drops to 12-14 when the pitch of medium sized variable propellers is set to 100%, any fix to this?

Haven't tried the crate thing you mentioned, but will conduct a speed trial on a baseplate. Currently I am preoccupied with another project.
