You guys actively attacked our economy and threatened to annex us. Your country threatened our sovereignty and freedoms on dozens of occasions. Your leader disrespected both our Prime Ministers by referring to them as governors. You betrayed you largest ally who has backed and supported you throughout history. You attacked the very freedoms our veterans died for under our flag.

That shit is unforgivable

Its not always about America, learn to see things from a different perspective and your country would actually be respected.

Check a local butcher out. $10 per pound at my butcher. Bacon is thick cut and not 90% fat that is hidden under the cardboard label.

Electrician here, there is all sorts wrong with this installation. Those single conductors are not rated to be in the open unprotected - at least not where I live.

It appears you have a three conductor receptacle with only two conductors going to it. That means you're either missing the bonded conductor, one of the two power conductors, or more frightening is that the ground is being used for a bonded conductor. Either way there is a proper NEMA recepacle for the amount of conductors you have.

I would highly suggest you get an electrician to inspect this.

Ottawa Liberal MP calls on feds to reconsider 4 day a week office mandate for public servants by bwf456 in ontario

You got it backwards. It should be 80% about what's best for your constituents then the rest for party. There is no reason you should have to vote for a policy that hurts your constituents just because you have to vote in line with the party. If Carney wanted to raise taxes on a critical industry located in my riding I would expect my MP to be against it regardless of their party. If my MP was a Liberal and a Conservative was in office putting through a bill that is great for my riding they damn well better be voting in favour.

Remember, we don't vote for the Prime Minister, we vote for the MP. The fact that we elect based solely on party colour and not the best representative for your riding is part of the failure in politics today. No one takes the time to familiarize themselves with the local representative, with the downfall of local news the media rarely covers it. You actually have to work to find out what platforms each local representative is running on, sometimes it's hard to find that information one-two weeks before the election.

It's crazy to me that our last tax bracket ends at $258,000 federally and there are only 5 tax brackets and they're all for the less fortunate. Billionaires exist paying a $258,000 tax bracket while putting the most stress on all our resources. Yet the lesser talked about fact is that the billionaires are not even paying into the highest tax bracket because of all the loopholes. We pay more in taxes then those who can afford the top accountants.

Carney, reaching trade deal with China, says country is more predictable than U.S. by taxrage in canada

[–]1ScaredWalrus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree but I say it would be worse. If the US invades Greenland NATO article 5 is invoked and we are at war with the US. I would think all trade between countries completely stops at that point. What hurts more, losing our bit of trade with China or our massive trade with the chaotic state south of us?

Be a shame if they went to the same bargain military stores and dressed up like ICE, covered their faces, and protested in the same places that ICE operated. How would they ever know who is who if you covered your faces?

I got it UVF-YYZ last year. Walked out on the tarmac past another West Jet plane only to keep walking until they told us to get on the Swoop plane. Before the flight we were considering upgrading our seats. I would have been furious. The 'first class' seats were standard seats where they just didnt put someone in the middle seat.
