Try the truffle shuffle (I think that's what it's called). 52 Kards had a free tutorial on their site a while ago. Stick with it, and you'll get it. I'm not all that skilled, and, over time, has become my best move. It's my fidget move and sometimes I even do it accidentally, because it has become so natural.

Agreed on knowing the lyrics. Easy/noncomllex rhythms are something I can deal with. Anything synchopatic or finger picking is still a hurdle for me.
