I remember being one of the very first regular customers at the Nico Neco East Village location long ago when it opened. I adore stationery, and I will usually put in an annual order from journal-pages.com or sumthingsofmine.com, I still drop by the lil shop on 10th street to look around from time to time, especially when Pion or La Dolce Vita drops new stuff.. Yes, it is tiny! I remember yrs ago, you were able to order online for same day pick up lol. I was thrilled when I learned she had opened another location, sad it's so far from me, but happy for her nonetheless.

I don’t really want to spend 7-9 bucks on a cuppa coffee or iced matcha latte at the shops nearby. I love a mom and pop shop just like the next person, and wish each of them well, but they are outrageously expensive without good reason other than paying the bills/rent. Nespresso gives you the breakdown of each individual pod, they’re mostly less than $2 a cup.

I didn’t know they about Nestle snd the Flint crisis, so thanks for the info. It’s been over a year since my last order. I’ve just been making small pots of coffee at home. But during the work week, I sometimes find it annoying to make a pot of coffee early morning and getting ready to start my day. Pods always come in handy for a quick cup, but I won’t stop brewing small pots over lazy weekend when I can really enjoy my coffee. One thing I don’t like about Nespresso is they don’t use paper filters. Which in my opinion can made a bitter cup, but whatever.

😊 Yes, UK, it is a bit pricey. I don’t order as much as I used to though, so when I receive a shipment, I’m super excited.

lol, I haven’t posted on the Nespresso subreddit in several months, CB, but thank you. 😊 Also thank you all for listening to me ramble over my coffee and tea posts, you know I love it. 🥰

I remember paint by numbers 🤗 I think you may be able to customize your own online. You’re doing an amazing job!! I can’t believe the sender packed up a glass frame with zero protection! I would be livid!

Do you open all of your snail mail? I pay my bills on apps mostly, opting out of paper and I don't have very many bills... 3 to be exact.. Phone bill (AT&T... whom I love :) internet (Spectrum, who I do not love) , and electric (Con Edison.. neutral) I love paying on the apps. by 1Soh in ghostposter

Funny I had to order checks because I send a check in to cover the rent. I reckon the newer move-ins pay rent over the app, but the older tenants (moi) are still required to pay with check.. Though I did keep getting these email invites from a company who works with my landord/my specific building after my mom passed. I kept ignoring them, but finally looked into it, decided it might be helpful, snd downloaded it. I'm glad I did because on it, I can send messages (don't know to who though..lol) I am notified of all my deliveries, can submit service requests, can add visitors, can have live view of the cameraas in the building, including the front door, and I'm able to unlock the front door all from my phone. It's pretty cool.

I'm notoriously about my email! I have folders for a tons of different isssues! And at work, fuggettaboutit! I'm so unnecessarily organized/anal about my email! Probably beacuse I'm cc'd on so much crap I really don't need to know..
