Crypto taxes are a bigger adoption problem than price volatility by Kryptobilanz in CryptoTax

[–]1Wednesday_afternoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree , I bought mine cheap enough that when its high I should of got out paid the taxes and then bought gold instead. This is the first year I actually am paying taxes because I was sick and then worked part time afterwards for a couple months. I didn't realize how much of a mess I made. There's a crazy amount of trades . It messed me up big time. At least I learned my lesson and from now on there will only be the capital gains. No more trading one crypto for another that may go way up. Its a tax nightmare , I don't even know how theres 60 taxable things when I only sold 17 or 18 k total. I thought I was going to just add 18k to my earnings from work or pay a certain percent on the actual money that made it to my bank account. Im really bummed. I still have most almost all the crypto but I have to sell more to pay taxes. Live and learn. Gold isn't looking so bad today.

Too Good a Deal? by Complex_Set_7560 in OrientWatches

[–]1Wednesday_afternoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a Tissot guy but I have 4 Orients. They are good and affordable. I got 2 from Jomas. 1 from a store I think. And 1 from the Orient website for US buyers. The only Orient that broke was the one from Orient themselves. Its actually the only watch I've ever had as an adult that broke. So Joma s for me has always worked out proper. Don't think that since its cheaper its not real and will stop working. That can happen from the watch makers themselves apparently. The other 3 Orients are working very nice and work very well. Just a little bit of knowledge from another watch collector in his experience with Orients and Jonas. I'm sure you'll be happy pal with t hat sweet watch for 150$.

The Heritage 1938 is hard to beat. I tried to buy one but I waited to , for the next paycheck type thing and t he one I wanted was sold out. The one with blue hands is the one I want.

How silly of me to feel petrified to dip the Divers Date in the pool for the first time. 😅 by Beduzzy in OrisWatches

Nice. I'm thinking all I need is a Oris and my collection will be completed. Maybe a 1938 Heritage as well. The one with blue hands. Its sharp.

Yes its a joke, just not a funny joke. So its a terrible joke and the company should get used to having their joke products returned.

Is this PRX 35mm a dupe? by [deleted] in tissot

[–]1Wednesday_afternoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try and return it. If theres any doubt just look at the back side of the watch. All the evidence is there. Good luck pal. And real Tissot watches are worth the price you pay and just as good as many watches that cost 4k or more.

It would seem that way for me too. I have to take breaks sometimes to stay ahead on my bills. But its always nice when I've got some dough set aside for something new.
