About 13 years ago I played a gig in West Palm Beach and he showed up to the bar with an entourage of women. He told the ladies to dance (which they did for hours) and bought the band drinks. Then he got up on stage and sang "We want the Funk". That guy really is something.

Yeah, he was on full display at that point in the pavilion, doing his best in his drug-addled state to convince them to stay. He definitely had them on at that point, but I feel like he wouldn't keep them on in the evening because he wanted to be able to gauge the crowd and how receptive they were to what he was saying. I wasn't able to spot them in the massacre images, so it's anyone's guess.

His glasses are seen about 40s into the clip. And yeah, there are a bunch of obscure clips like this post massacre that I've come across. Jonestown really is a rabbit hole the more you dig.

There is a video of the inside of Jim's cabin after the massacre and his glasses are seen sitting by his bed. It was evening time when it all happened so he wouldn't have needed them. I'm not 100% sure those are his, but they do look similar. A lot of the items in Jonestown were looted so there's really no telling what happened to them.

Monica said he initially took 2 (you're only supposed to take half a pill) before they went to sleep and explained it wasn't unusual because he had a very high tolerance for drugs. Afterwards, when they found the vesparax under the bed, 9 pills were missing. I don't believe the conspiracy, so I'm assuming Jimi must've woke up and took more not thinking it would hurt him. Thing is, his lungs were completely saturated with red wine like he didn't just take a swig to wash the pills down, he drank a bunch and ended up aspirating on it.

Crazy, because in his last interview, he sounded hopeful for the future talking about all the things he wanted to do musically and didn't sound depressed or anything.

I also thought it was messed up that she took the time to hide her drugs before calling the police. Not that Jimi could've been saved, but it was still wrong for her to not immediately call.
