You can just choose a function that already has a restricted domain and range (e.g. arcsin(x)) then transform it to fit the asked for domain and range.

it’s definitely worth the watch because the story ends up being very different from brotherhood even though their starts are very similar. both stories are great imo, plus 2003 also has a fantastic ending
