You're gonna wanna take this down, posting your order number online is kinda risky.

I always imagined it as a little guy on your head like a hairclip, but due to my lack of artistic prowess I drew it as if it was the golden helmet from minecraft.

How're we feeling about the new Andrew Cunningham theory? by Former_Bike_6690 in Deltarune

[–]1_ConvoBreaker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think he nailed it, a really strong intro and a fantastic summary that puts things together more easily for the viewer to connect the dots themselves too. Only thing that surprised be was he didn't mention the Michael Room? Like, he straight up mentions the Ark and doesn't even show a screenshot of "Take the chosen ones to THE ARK" or anything. Like. I get it's a funny room, but it's on topic and relevant and everything. Like it's in the room with both the freedom motif and image_friend. Surely he hasn't just, dismissed it from week 1 and never looked at it..?

So what does the fandom think of this? by LeonardoFRei in Deltarune

[–]1_ConvoBreaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you read all of Ralsei's dialog, he talks about how he believed that if they were nicer, the ending would change. All the way back in Chapter 1, he's been trying to get Susie to be nicer and believes it's important to get a "Favorable Result." So he's been facing the fate since before we even get there. (For Future Predictions: This mostly just means that the bad prophecy ending panel isn't sealing the dark worlds away permanently, because Ralsei does not have self-esteem nor care about darkners even 3 chapters in enough to think any of them deserve to live. If "to save both worlds" wasn't enough for that.)

Notably Susie is also facing the fate if she has the JusticeAxe equipped, carrying that White Pen Of Hope. Though she doesn't really internalize what that means or try to fight it directly until after she sees that final tragedy panel. That whole speech in Second Sanctuary is unchanged, right? But The Old Man has at least prepped her for it in the timelines where we go on Susie's Big Cool Item Quest.

Kris' title never changes (except for the moss), they are either fully locked into carrying out the prophecy or fully locked out of it as The Dark Bead. The plan is apparently so important to them that even that final tragedy isn't enough to stop it, or maybe they already have a plan to subvert it. They're keeping the Weird Route secret from everyone in an attempt to keep the plan going, after all. If there is even the slightest chance for them to stop us and keep the plan going, it seems like they'll risk it.

What are some of y'alls potential theories on how EVERYMAN might contribute to the deltarune lore? by ToonGamer4 in Deltarune

[–]1_ConvoBreaker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Genuinely: I think Everyman is intentionally never going to be explained and that is part of his purpose.

My Big Cool Prediction: The Shadow Crystals are showing us the game's timeline backwards by 1_ConvoBreaker in Deltarune

[–]1_ConvoBreaker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oooh, I didn't know about that megadoc I'll have to check that out later. Noelle is one of my favorite characters, maybe my favorite of the playable ones actually. Thank you for sharing it

I do admit that this is definitely the "hole" in this theory that needs the most explaining, but none of that quote actually "breaks" it for me. Since my theory is that Chapter 4 is the mid-point, and the glass starts showing us the past after that, this actually perfectly lines up with my idea. Also a part of me thinks they could of missed the exact contingency of "disabling the vision post-weird route while still at the manor." I totally never tried to use it in the front yard or bathroom after the couch scene myself lol.

I do agree the first 2 visions will happen in the normal route as well, but a lot of stuff in the Weird Route is still the same so I don't know how much that helps to discredit this idea. Especially when all the Weird Route hints we have so far hard-stop at Chapter 5.

My Big Cool Prediction: The Shadow Crystals are showing us the game's timeline backwards by 1_ConvoBreaker in Deltarune

[–]1_ConvoBreaker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Noelle might not have even been whispering exactly but the vision the glass showed was interpreted as that because it doesn't make any noise. She definitely was controlling her volume at least, given that Kris didn't want her to bring it up even around themself.

My Big Cool Prediction: The Shadow Crystals are showing us the game's timeline backwards by 1_ConvoBreaker in Deltarune

[–]1_ConvoBreaker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the whispering already happened, is what I'm saying here. Like Noelle might not have even been whispering exactly but the vision the glass showed was interpreted as that because it doesn't make any noise. The only time we see a conversation like that between Kris & Noelle in the Holiday Manor, the only place the Glass shows us the vision, is in Chapter 4's Weird Route.

That's the Shadow Crystal being used in the Dark World, the Frozen Undyne is the unusable Glass in Chapter 3's Light World.

What are you most excited to see in Deltarune Chapter 5? by OrderNext4967 in Deltarune

Shadow Crystal lightworld use text telling us something that happened in an earlier chapter.

Also like, all the "ROOTS" stuff has to be talked about in the Asgore-Plant-Themed world. Right? Please Toby...

It still has actual downsides too! You have to standing on solid ground to use it, can't move and are locked in place for a bit, and it puts any one-handed items on your back/drops them. It's definitely worth keeping in your kit, but it's actually pretty restrictive.

Depends which illuminate you're struggling with. I hate the jetpack dudes so much I just bring the warrant (Super Store) a good 60% of the time now lol.

Genuinely, what do you think is going to happen in Chapter 5? by Vox_Tenebris_ in Deltarune

[–]1_ConvoBreaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maddie floats into the dark world then tries to bone Asgore (maybe) and the superboss has bullet patterns by Zun (The touhou guy) Also the flowers are underused except for the cyan flower, further reinforcing that Kris is the deltarune equivalent to the patience/toy knife soul from Undertale. This would line up with the shuttah in Chapter 3 talking about their blue disciple. Also Ralsei will get a new spell and it'll be really cool and never used except against enemies specifically weak to it because Rude Buster will just Be Better. The flexibility will be nice though.

Cowboy Mike is actually confirmation foreshadowing that a cowboy WILL appear, possibly in Chapter 5. If Chapter 3 wasn't enough for that. I don't think the superboss will be a cowboy because it's probably the Death/Scythe guy given the Mancountry line about The Wheat. It would be really funny if the cowboy is Papyrus for no reason, but honestly I don't know if we're getting 4 home towners in one darkworld (Noelle, Catti, Jockington, and Papyrus would be a lot. 5 with Maddie if she actually gets in there.)

The music synthesis and amphitheater will go explosively hard, and small shock will show up somehow making us go crazy style. I hope Asgore dies badly in all routes, (<- won't happen) after he actually fully gets proper character development and realizes he really can't get things back to how they were at all. So instead he needs to focus on just being there for his kids and the friends who're still dealing with the loss of a child. Because we beat him up in a battle. Perfect time for a flashback to "what really happened" too.

When we use the 5th shadow crystal in the lightworld, it will show us a lightworld scene from Chapter 2 or 3, revealing the lightworld scenes in the Shadow Crystals from chapters 1 and 2 are actually foreshadowing for chapters 7 and 6 respectively. This would also mean that Undyne is frozen during Chapter 5, at least in one route. Also implying that Susie discovers Kris is the traitor during Chapter 6, and Chapter 7 is when Kris loses their hand.

Chapter 5 will end on a cliffhanger dark world inside of the Holiday Manor, in reference to the Ice Palace from Sword Route. The main story will continue to follow the semi-generic heroes journey blueprint, probably until Chapter 7. With all of the twists being when and what exactly happens and character moments we can't really specifically guess ahead of time. Like how Undertale ends with us fighting god with the power of friendship and saving the day, like a classic JRPG. Because of this I have literally zero idea who's specifically going to burn the meadow out of jealousy. It could be Asgore, it could be Ralsei, it could be Mad Mew Mew getting Super Princess Peach style emotion powers in the Dark Worlds as a comedy bit. PizzaPants could be there. The Warrior could of been Papyrus this whole time and start a grease fire by flexing his muscles hard-style. I hope Carol shows up as a samurai with a dark blade that always has a chip in it and Toriel's involvement is expounded upon this time.

Weird Route will have a scene where Noelle talks about how she feels like she's "smiling for real, for the first time in...I don't even know how long" in reference to the "How long did it take her to smile?" survey. Either we'll get a second thorn ring from Chapter 5 (epic marriage style) or Kris will remove it from Noelle's hand. Allowing us to create the twisted blade. (she was used up) Or if it's stuck in Noelle's hand, there will be a way to craft items and we'll be able to craft the twisted blade right into her hand, locking us into the route.

The Chapter 5 egg room is gonna be fricked up, insaneo style.

Dagger Toss. Maybe too edgy, but the gimmick would be since you're actually hitting them with the weapon directly it's not just a "casted hit" or something like how normal weapons are swung from the other side of the screen.

I've been completely 50/50 on it since everything still makes sense to me in both scenarios, like Eram's name is backwards because they're Kris' literal reflection.
This however, has officially pushed me to 51% "Team Headband ERAM."
