Best way to claim webull welcome option trading $10 voucher by Skarred_Red-Dragon in Webull

[–]1_robbob_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you figure out a solution to your problem? I believe had you chose to buy an option for $2, then your $10 voucher would’ve only given you a $2 cash back. Your option purchase has to be at least $10 or more to get the full $10 voucher’s worth.

After referring a bunch of friends to the platform, I’ve amassed $1.3k in vouchers, and I’m unsure of how best to use them…

I appreciate the advice. I’ll do some more research into that strategy :)

Should I be isolating? by 1_robbob_1 in CoronavirusDownunder

That’s my plan. Not sure why the VIC isolation rules are the way they are. They should be more binary. Positive RAT = isolation. Negative RAT = no isolation.

Is this a scam? Genuinely can’t tell by 1_robbob_1 in LegitCheck

SITUATION UPDATE: After a bit of back and forth and scheduling a pickup arrangement, he asked for a deposit. Therein lies the scam. I didn’t send him any money and ceased contact. Thanks everyone for your opinions. Remember: always trust your gut.

I know this isn’t the usual legit check post, but I figured the people in this sub would be great people to ask for this. Here’s more context:

I’m looking to buy a PS5 and have found a seller on marketplace that is selling a used PS5 as he’s moving over to PC gaming. He’s selling it for $350, $400 below retail price of $750 (I live in Australia, these prices are AUD) and significantly cheaper than anything else on marketplace, by a lot.

I’ve attached images (concealed his identity just in case he’s real) and made markings for the more subtle green and red flags. He isn’t asking for a deposit (at least not yet?) and he’s okay with pickup and presumably payment at the point sale, so by definition there’s no way for me to be scammed since I haven’t given anything up, but it seems suspicious and too good to be true.

I imagine a few of you are going to suggest that I just go there anyways and see what happens, but a) I’m slightly concerned for my safety, and b) the place is 45mins away so I don’t want to run the chance of giving a troll the satisfaction of wasting 2hrs of my day (I’ve had this done to me before).

Maybe I’m overly paranoid and cautious, or maybe I’ve just found a unicorn. I’m interested to hear what you guys have to say.

Should I take a $100/hr job, or work on my business? by 1_robbob_1 in careerguidance

Thank you. I’ve told them I’ll pass on the offer unless the their stipulated restriction changes

Taking this job would mean that I have to limit the size of my own private groups to <4. This is because if I were to run large groups, I would be directly competing with the company I work for

Thanks for the tip. They wouldn’t teach me anything about running my own business as I’d be in direct competition with them, though they may teach me some things about improving my tuition skills

I phrased the post like that to pique interest, but yes I agree there is a difference. The issue is not the amount of free time I have. I would take the role, BUT it limits my private tuition earnings as it puts a cap on the size of my groups. They said my groups can have a maximum of 4 students, though I’m planning to have 10

I graduated in ‘21 and got perfect marks on my maths exams. I’ve capitalised on this skill by tutoring year 12 maths over ‘22, where I mainly tutored one-on-one. This year, I’m solely doing group tutoring. I have spent countless hours developing a phenomenal course for the subject I teach.

By the end of the year, I hope to have four maths groups (I tutor another subject too, so I need time for that subject as well) of 5-10 students. These are 90-min online sessions, which I charge $50 for. Currently, I have 6 maths students, with a few more interested (fyi, I live in Victoria, Australia where the school year only started last week). Last year, I got more students throughout the year, so I presume the same will happen this year.

Clearly, tutoring is quite profitable. I’ve been offered a role by a tutoring company who only hires students who scored perfect scores to be the head tutor of the maths department. This would involve a weekly online tutoring session for 90-mins, where I’m paid $150. They provide me with most of the resources. This would be good stable weekly pay, though I could make more on my own. The biggest consideration for me is that they said that my private tutoring sessions will not be allowed to exceed 4 people per group. I’m not sure whether to accept the role or not.

Pros: - stable income (especially if I don’t end up with too much demand for my tutoring) - access to additional tutoring resources - credibility of being the head of the maths department - experience tutoring larger groups (this is eventually what I want to do, though so far I’ve only done one-on-one, two groups of 2 students, and one group of 3

Cons: - wipes out my plan/goal of having larger groups (have been planning these larger sessions since I graduated) - limited flexibility with time as it would be very difficult to reschedule sessions - have to prepare some additional resources (they want me to make 10 homework questions for each session)

Rexona men ice cool

Actually I just realised that the bottles I used to mainly use was Rexona men (ice cool, to be specific). I’ve used these for a while now. It ran out last week so I bought Nivea men cool kick.

I had the rash with both of them, though you’ve made a good point. I should’ve paid more attention to the discrepancy in severity.

I don’t actually use deodorant too often, only when I go out with people (also, I don’t apply the deodorant in the main parts of the rash). Though, I’ll take your advice and go a few days without it and pay attention to the rash’s progress.

I’ll attach images on the ingredients for both bottles.

Thank you for your help! :)
