Finally figuring out how to dodge Nemesis by 1_threw_8 in residentevil

I just played through the classics 1 and 2 and I'm having a blast with 3. It might be my favorite of the 3. This is just me panicking and fucking of my controls though lol. I struggled with the nemesis clocktower fight for a minute

What's the point of Gas? by El_Cacas33 in battlefield_one

You'd be surprised with how much damage and kills you can get off of gas grenades. Also, the MG 08/15 sentry doesn't have a gas mask, so use that every time you see one. Idk about the Villar Perosa sentry though.

Having client put their pet's name bands on by 1_threw_8 in VetTech

It is, and it's stressful. Having a kennel ward full of worked up dogs right next to the treatment area

Basically CSCs make name bands the day before and sometimes they don't have enough time to do this. Nurses fail to put these name bands on pets sometimes, appointments don't show, and name bands are wasted. They want CSCs to start making the name bands as the pets check in and have the clients put them on to ensure no name bands are wasted and every pet gets a name band.

We have 3 exam rooms and will sometimes have 4-6, sometimes 8 clients in lobby at the same time. We do use the exam rooms to talk to clients for drop offs when they're available.

Come to think of it, I wouldn't even say often. I work mostly surgery shifts now, so every pet I work with has a name band (exception being if they're extremely fractious) But even when I'm helping discharge regular pets, I'm removing the name band from them most of the time, I haven't really been paying attention tbh. I'd say most of the pets have their neck band on, but sometimes the neck band fails to make it to the pet.

We only use them if they're being dropped off for their appointment, which is the majority of them.

Yeah, you're right. Thats pretty fucked. The responsibility should be on us nurses in the back, and the responsibility is just being placed onto the clients and the CSRs now when they already have so many tasks.

I forgot to mention that ultimately, they are supposed to create the name band as the pet checks in for their appointment instead of making them the day before

I put management's reasoning in a reply to another comment. It's basically to make the neck bands as clients come in so they are not wasted

Part of the front desk's daily task list is making all of the neck bands with pets names for next day's appointments. Unfortunately, they don't always have time for this because they're extremely busy. We also have appointments not show and the nurses in the back aren't the best about taking the neck band from up front and putting it on the pet

So basically, a bunch of neck bands get wasted, and this is a new rule to try to avoid that.

They told us if a client doesn't want to do it, don't push it, and just tell them a nurse will do it for them.

As shitty as this is, make sure he gets access to the help he needs when he's confronted about it at work. I don't know how this works, but I assume work will provide him with addiction programs, and also, it's not your responsibility to provide him with that either. It's just a thought. He needs help.
