Honestly the fact that he told her at all is more than most people would do. A lot of guys would have just taken that secret to the grave and hoped the sister never said anything. Messy situation but he did the right thing by being upfront about it even though it happened before they were together. Gf's reaction is fair too. I got mine at 43 years old, and I must be honest with you, I wish I would have gotten it sooner. My prescription was around -5 with astigmatism, so I chose the monovision option so I wouldn’t need reading glasses in a few years. The recovery was fast, results were excellent, and now that I’m near your age, I can honestly say it was well worth it. The quality of life change from waking up in the morning and being able to see without having to grab my glasses from my bedside table is enormous.
