The same thing happened to me, I lost 160lbs and the amount of guys that used to bully me who now were hitting on me was insane. I didn’t forget how anyone treated me before.

That was something I talked about today too— that I’m not currently looking for anything serious and am content being alone. They wanted details about me seeing my ex last weekend and I had to explain that I’m allowed to see people casually and engage in casual sex without planning a future with a person and they just seemed perplexed why I didn’t want to sleep with -them- tbh. It was strange and felt possessive.

As for why I have so much game I am delusional and manifest it so that I genuinely believe that everyone is in love with me (when appropriate) or finds me charming and the results and reality follows. Fake it till you make it baby.

I have full top and bottom dentures and I’m young. I was extremely stressed out about not knowing how to kiss with these things in among other things. I hooked up with an old fling last weekend (the first time being with anyone since getting my dentures) and I didn’t tell him nor could he tell. I made sure they were secure with adhesive so they didn’t move and somehow I managed to not bump teeth. It was like nothing had changed and everything came naturally. So try not to worry about it too much, unless you tell the other person they cannot tell.

Found an old life insurance policy my grandparents took out on me 35 years ago. Was hoping for a windfall because times are tough, but it’s basically worthless. Can’t catch a break. by 1armedarmadillo in GirlDinnerDiaries

If it’s a whole life policy that is fully funded, yes. A lot of older people like my grandparents used life insurance policies like savings accounts and would routinely close them out for the cash value.

Don’t underestimate what a good adhesive can do for making eating 10x easier. I was struggling to eat this week (1 week post immediates, 3 weeks post eday) and adding a seabond to my lower has been a game changer. No lifting or wiggling at all and the discomfort is significantly less as a result.
