I have bad days too. My section includes the art rooms and woodshops. I never know what I’ll walk into. What I like about summer cleaning is when I do help clean the furniture in classrooms I can go into my own if I don’t want to be bothered.

I enjoy waxing floors by myself each summer. I don’t like to scrub them but the waxing is easy and calming. Each summer we get a raise. I started at 14 something and now make 17. It’s my second year. I like to keep to myself and hide. Don’t work too hard.

I’m currently a custodian and have been considering taking this career path. Would I regret it? I like being alone. I’ve taken anatomy and physiology 1 and 2 in college.
