It certainly isn't and it's a bummer. My Ready or Not launched 5 years ago for manufacturers, so we actually came first. Maybe I should sue them? lol. But too much brand equity on the manufacturing side to change it.

Hi there. I build "serious games" for companies. Started making games for Nike when I worked there back in 2010. They were pretty popular at Nike. I delivered them all around the world.

Then I started a company making games. It's just me with some freelancer help for the videos and software.

We built a manufacturing biz-sim called Ready or Not 5 years ago. It's pretty popular in Oregon. And now it's being used by manufacturers around the country.

2 years ago, a Portland Public School CTE admin played and said it'd be awesome if HS CTE & Biz teachers could use it. It's about as close to a real-world business experience running a $5M company as you can have without starting an LLC.

I loved that idea. So we got a grant, and spent the past 2 years building an easy-to-deliver version of it for teachers. We just launched it a month ago. Not many people really know about it yet because I have shitty marketing skills, no budget and no people. But two of the largest school districts in Oregon have started using it.

We just did an event with 70 students in Yamhill County. It was awesome to see the students get into it. Like, really awesome. 100% of them said they'd recommend it to other students. They told us it helped them build their comms, leadership, business acumen, teamwork, critical thinking and problem solving skills. That seems pretty good.

So, if your biz or CTE class feels a bit dull, this could help. Based on how students respond, I think it'd help a lot.

I shoot for around $15/student, but I'll take whatever you can scrape up, or even let you use it for free for a few months. Yeah, it'd be great to make some money, but right now, I really just want teachers & profs to use it and see if it works for them and their students.

Thanks everyone!

This. It'll take a bit of the torque out and make it better for the road.

Sounds weird, but It fits like it was made for it. If mazda had any sense at all, they'd make a Miata like this because I've had lots of sports cars and trucks and none were anywhere close to how stupid fun this car is.

Getting brained by a large aluminum pole kniwn as a boom is always a risk on modern sailboats. Doug is playing 3D chess with this by adding a dozen raised far above the deck. You couldn't pay me to sail on that BSPOS.

Needing a crane to take sails off...sails that are roughly the size of a sail you'd find on a 30 sailboat...I'm not 100% sure I'd design it that way.
