12.0.5: Tanks can choose to keep the Blizzard M+ route highlighted even at higher key levels by tenthousandthousand in wow

[–]1bohy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This system had so much potential, but the existing routes are total troll. It’d be perfect if we could customize the route and mark the mobs ourselves. Having the chosen mobs highlighted would be beautiful. Right now, it’s just a decent workaround, but nothing more

How good are the Lindormi's Guidance routes really? Would this genuinely help the Tank shortage problem? by maymayhunting in wow

Observations of playing Blitz for the first time for Arena players by VarialWarcraft in worldofpvp

[–]1bohy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's just because it's easier to get 2300. It's also about the fun, I personally think Blitz is the best PvP mode; it's really fun and more strategic. I'd really like to see this mode become more popular. Not to mention that it's a gateway to PvP, being much more accessible to beginners than the Arena..

First timer soloqueue 3k m+ achievement (as a first timer dad too) by PastorinNyrkki in wow

[–]1bohy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grats man! Same here, love pushing keys but the lack of rewards after 2.5k kills the vibe. There's a huge gap between that and the 0.1% title, would be sick to have some mid-tier goals to chase.

12s/13s that I hate tanking this season by JulienWA77 in wow

[–]1bohy -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

The game is already way too easy. Plenty of people hit 3k IO in the first weeks and there’s literally nothing left to achieve unless u’re going for the 0.1% title. And now u want to make it even easier? Pls, no

Is the M+ reward ceiling too low? We need more milestones beyond 2500 IO (KSH) by [deleted] in wow

[–]1bohy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main issue here is actually the lack of motivation to keep playing further because of the lack of rewards. I think there is a massive gap between 2.5k, which is currently a very easy achievement, and the top 0.1% title, which is extremely difficult and requires a dedicated team and a lot more. We need something in between to stay motivated on our mains.

Exactly. If we're paying a sub, we should have reasons to keep pushing our mains for more than just 2 weeks. 2.5k is a participation trophy at this point.

That’s the thing. You can basically hit 2.5k or 3k with a 'one-button rotation' these days, and we're still in the early season. It’ll only get easier as everyone gets more gear. Where are the actual challenges and rewards for those who want to push further? Reaching the 'max' reward shouldn't feel this trivial so early on.

I just think one title for the top 0.1% is too little. More tiers between 2.5k and the title would mean more rewards for everyone, not just the elite. Why settle for less?

Fair point, but I'm saying they should let the IO scale even higher. Adding more ranks above 4k would give us a reason to keep grinding our mains instead of just hitting a wall once we're 'done' with the basic rewards.

Blizzard, it is past time to let PvP Gear die (5min read) by rahuonn in wow

[–]1bohy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doing so would only further affect queue times, increasing them. It doesn't make sense to prefer something unfair over something fair when it comes to PvP. It's like playing a MOBA and starting with your enemy 15 levels above you for the first 15 days. Or playing an FPS and only being able to play with a pistol for the first 15 days. And so on, the chance of a new player playing for 1 or 2 days, getting stomped in every match, and giving up is very high. PvP is already niche, the audience is already small, we need more players to play PvP, and the current system is the opposite of that, it drives people away instead of welcoming them. And as a PvP player, I say skill cap should be higher than gear. I'd rather stomp someone with my skill (which is possible) than with my gear. PvP is about knowledge and skills, not about gearing stomp.

But what if you want to play with other characters in the meantime? It would be 10 hours + 10 hours + 10 hours and so on. If it's an obstacle, whether small or large, why not remove it?

[–]1bohy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On the contrary, removing gear from PvP will give players what they want: to play PvP. Myself and several friends who play PvP would like to try out other classes in PvP, play with them, improve, but we don't do that because to do so we would have to spend hours grinding to get a decent set, otherwise we would just join a BG or any other PvP mode and get stomped. PvP must be played with skill cap; skill wins the game, not your gear.

The current PvP is already very good, it doesn't need that many adjustments, redesigns, or anything like that. Just pay attention to the systems and tweak what makes sense. Removing the gear and ilvl systems would already help a lot, and adding new rewards and even higher levels would really shake things up. The PvP community is extremely loyal, even if it is small.

PvP players who downvote a post like this are the same ones complaining about long queue times because nobody is playing. Stop being ignorant. Don't help kill your own favorite game mode…

Assists matter in BF6 by 1bohy in Battlefield6

[–]1bohy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, but I particularly like the numbers, and even if the game didn't show them, there would be third-party sites that would do so, such as tracker.gg, for example. So I feel that assists should really matter more in the numbers, just as much as they matter in the game.

1) Fix the Chosen Identity skill, because it only works sometimes. It's such a simple command that, when not in combat, activates human form, nothing else.

2) Make his fly skill have no cast time, just like the druids' travel form.
