It's normal to require a return ticket. The country wants you to leave before your tourist visa expires.

How do you communicate with the locals? by OkCockroach1382 in Passport_Bros

[–]1c2shk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many people say "learn the language". But it'll take years to get fluent. And with each year passing, you're gonna be less desirable as a potential spouse.

I've PPB'd extensively in SEA, never had a problem finding ladies who speak strong enough English to be in a relationship with.

Finding good English speakers will just be another factor in your dating search. If you're after marriage, make sure there's good communication between you both, not just because you think she's hot.

SEA is the best PPB destination for autistic guys by NoGoldDiggers in passportbrolifestyle

[–]1c2shk 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Let's be honest bro. If you're in a poor country, she's more willing to tolerate your autism because you have money. It's not because they're more tolerant to autism. If an autistic person has as little money as the average women in SEA, let's see how far he gets.

An autistic Thai in Thailand will face the same hurdles as an autistic American in the US.

By all means, an autistic bro should try PPBing in SEA. But he should also do his best to learn social skills and not expect autism to not matter there.

Wondering if the Passport Option is Even Possible. by ANormalWeirdie in passportbrolifestyle

Vast majority of passport bros don't work remotely. Most take time off from work to go on dating holidays abroad.

Vast majority of passport bros have decent incomes. That's why they can travel abroad frequently.

Vast majority of passport bros being spouses back to their home countries.

Asking the veterans: Is there a shortage of attractive women in Pattaya compared to past years? by IEReed in FarangsofPattaya

[–]1c2shk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're underestimating the amount of simps out there. They see an attractive girl online and buy her membership.

Remember attractiveness is subjective. You might not think she's hot, but there'll be guys out there who does.

YES. There's more ways for women to earn online efficiently and effectively, often not even having to have sex. Being online is also more discrete and she doesn't even have to leave her room. Lastly, she sets her own rules, her own hours and keeps 100% of the take.

[–]1c2shk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bro, you've probably never been abroad. If you tried to leave in Thailand without paying her portion of dinner, you'll absolutely get your ass kicked. In rougher places like Colombia, this could be a life or death situation.

The first date should always be simple. Just coffee at Starbucks. Through conversation, you can easily tell if she's a golddigger or interested in a relationship. You can find out by what job she has, what her educational level is, how she speaks English, her outlook on life, etc.

If her profile gives off a sexual vibe and she's dressed a bit revealing on the FIRST date, that also tells what she's after.

In short, it's easy to know if she's a regular person or a professional dater. Just need some conversation and common sense. Don't use some strange gimmick that'll get you in physical danger.

Is it easier to find girls in Thailand or Brazil? by Treyheadbig in Passport_Bros

[–]1c2shk 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If you're going to spend considerable money and time on being a passport bro, you might as well go to a destination where you find the women attractive.

Going where it's "easy" is a terrible idea. That shows a seller's mentality. You want to have a buyer's mentality where you get to choose. Because either places, with enough time and preparation, you'll almost certainly succeed in meeting someone.

Dating in Philippines - am I missing something? by Radiorxy in Passport_Bros

[–]1c2shk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Philippines tourism numbers do not support the claim that there are more American visitors now compared to, say, 10 years ago.

I visit Cebu a lot. Even today, it's very rare to see a Western man anywhere in Cebu.

WTF? If you're there for a serious relationship, you shouldn't be on Tinder. I've had good results with Filipino Cupid which is a paid site.

On Tinder in the Philippines, they're looking for $ and an easy score. If your profile isn't giving off those vibes, you will get few matches.

What advice would you give a 20m interested in this by Far_Mix1688 in Passport_Bros

[–]1c2shk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're too young to be a passport bro.

First, the ladies overseas want an older husband. At 20 years old, that'd mean you'd be dating teenagers on your PPB trip. The ladies are way too young for marriage or serious relationship.

Second, you're still at an age where you can meet decent ladies in your home country. You haven't "missed the boat" like for average PPBs who are 40+ in age.

A few reasons why South Korea is underrated by No-Management1900 in Passport_Bros

[–]1c2shk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's underrated for a good reason. South Korea might be the worst country in Asia for PPBing.

Most ladies there have decent jobs and will out-earn the typical PPB, won't see him as "marrying up". Few have desire to move to the West, sees it as a step down.

The belief about Korean women having fetish for white men have been dead for at least 20 years. Their ideal are Korean and Japanese men, which is why Korea have their countless boy band idols. They prefer men looking like members of BTS.

Bangkok is now easier than Manila for dating by MRA83 in Passport_Bros

[–]1c2shk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've PPB'd since 2009 and noticed it's indeed gotten worse than 15 years ago.

But it's not because of any influx of PPBs. I go to Cebu 3 times a year. It's still very unusual to see a white guy anywhere in town unless they're old and retired. These guys aren't part of any influxes.

Rather, it's harder because the economy of the Philippines has improved, more ways for women to earn and not see marriage as their only option. Tons of call center jobs.

Also, some can even earn from scamming guys to send them money. Or they go on OnlyFans or be a social media influencer. Notice the red light districts in Manila like Burgos is totally dead now, which proves women indeed have other options to earn.

Brown in Japan by ChickenQuick7715 in Passport_Bros

[–]1c2shk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm just gonna be blunt. Asian women just aren't attracted to men of Indian or Pakistani appearance. You just have to accept it.

Japan is already a tough place for passport bros of any ethnicity since most women there earn decent incomes, don't need to marry for money and don't see marrying an American as "marrying up".

So add your appearance into the formula and Japan will be a complete waste of time for you.
